Shameless Cheap Company

Don’t get into their trap don’t take any membership

Beware

Don't fall in their trap. They will not respond to you once you take membership. They will promise Gym membership, 3/4 star hotel booking, hall booking, event passes, summer camp pass, pick and drop, movie tickets, etc. They do not have tie up with any hotel. They book through Make my trip or some other travel portal. They will not send any list of hotels. Finally after lot of running around they might provide you with a two star accommodation. Don't waste your hard earned money, instead go for Mahindra or Country club.

It Is Not Worth It !!!

Gallivant International is not a scam. Yes, they exist, barely! It is a real company with real people.We committed a grave mistake of joining them and having to live with it!

Please read this critical and honest review which is also a complaint on their business ethic.

Gallivant International is run by an inefficient and incompetent work force providing a third-rate service. They are the greatest sellers of their crude, low-level and cheap service products, tricksters of the highest grade who make you believe that you are one of the luckiest customers to land an amazing “limited-period” deal and are also the worst service providers.

Gallivant is not a standard, stable or sincere company like Mahindra. Yes, the bigger companies’ holiday packages are expensive but they adhere to industry standards and make efforts to provide us quite a hassle-free experience. In contrast, the harrowing experience of getting anything done by Gallivant turns holiday planning into a nightmarish ordeal. They do not respond to calls, are very slow and casual with their email replies and are available to contact only for a short period each day, unavailable on weekends (which holiday company neglects it’s customers on weekends... that’s when plans and bookings are made) and do not have an emergency contact number.

Mathematically speaking you are not gaining anything by paying them large amounts at once. It adds up to roughly the same amount if a couple plans the holidays separately. Agreement says that 3/4 star hotels will be provided but it’s almost always 3 star or below. By my calculations, it’s better and profitable to plan on our own as compared to giving my hard-earned money to Gallivant. It would be prudent to invest that lumpsum in some fund with a specific goal of holiday expenditure rather than buying a worthless service package from Gallivant!! I am certain most current and past members of this company would agree with me. Another way of holiday planning is to pay more and join a reputed company.

The list of properties they offer is grossly inadequate and you are forced to choose what’s available. They show you these bulky catalogues with amazing destinations but that’s entirely a charade. I vividly remember seeing several stunning properties (which I had researched on during my past travels that were way out of my budget) I had always wanted to stay in. Gallivant, I thought at that time, was a great opportunity. It turned out to be the worst investment that my wife and I ever made. Rather it’s an expense and an unnecessary useless expense.

I remember we had been very worried trying to make a booking in koh samui, thailand since two months before our travel in the first week of October 2018. It was a stressful period.

I rate this company one out of a possible five. I hope they get better. If they do, I will improve the rating accordingly in future.

Same Thing Happened To Me As Well, I Had Received

Same thing happened to me as well, I had received following message on my mobile,

Then I had visited there branch located at well-known PHOENIX PARAGON PLAZA in kurla, looking well setup office and almost 20-30 staff members are working. Then they started telling about their holiday plan at very reasonable price for 3-5 star domestic and international hotels including food and accommodation and pick and drop will be cover in membership plan only you have bare air fare tickets and visa in case of international for 35 days and extra 7 days as complimentary for 2 adult and 2 kids. And also, Club facility with no cost. And they said this plan is for today only and they can provide on EMI with no interest for 3 years and for limited customer we are providing 1000 grocery coupon(like Dmart) for every month and 2 movie PVR tickets and 2 Imagica tickets. So, I thought very reasonable price and I took membership plan of 95K on 21st October 2018 for 5 years pkg. When I come home and searched for the company I found lot of negative feedback and now I am very tensed. When I got to know that there Pune branch has already been closed long back but still they mentioned Pune branch office in their membership agreement paper and even they are not mentioned any hotels/club and holiday location in their website and not even membership/hotels priced are mention anywhere. Kindly suggest how should i go ahead. Need your suggestion what should i do to get my money back. I called credit card department and already requested for dispute for this payment and bank said they will investigate on this but they would require some genuine report stating what merchant has committed for the service is not offering you on basis of they we have to asked for cancellation or log a complaint in police. But to claim this dispute amount we have only 2 months of period. Even I had talked with many members those had taken their membership plans but didn’t get services.Don’t know what to do next to claim refund of my amount.

Worst Customer Care Service

I have never seen such a worst customer service, all contact numbers given on website and personal contacts given to me seems to be fake. for some i'm getting number vadhya nahi and some of them are not replying, some numbers are switched off.

Is this a way to handle customers?

This company just needs money, once they get it they forget about the customer.

Gallivant Consist Of The Most Tardy, Uncoordinated

Gallivant consist of the most tardy, uncoordinated, unprofessional service you will ever come across in your lifetime. I made a mistake paying a lakh to them and will regret it forever. They don't respond, they don't have a customer care number that you can consult to. Half their staff is unaware of what their job is, and how to help customers. Almost all of their staff is unresponsive and keep giving excuses. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM GUYS. People like me who are already trapped, we can't do anything about it. I wish they improve dramatically in all aspects, looks difficult, but that's all I can hope for.

Traveled With My Friends

It was a memorable experience. I have traveled with my friends. Except hotel in pattaya(that to we have selected of our own interest) remaining all is extraordinary. Especially customer support and our tour guide is excellent and very supportive in all aspects. Overall we were happy with this trip Overall trip is memorable.

While Selling Their Holiday Package They Promised

While selling their holiday package they promised 2 gym passes will be given every year and monthly event passes and summer camp for children and banquet booking every year. They have also mentioned the above things in the agreement which they made on stamp paper. They have not fulfilled their promise.
