There are many complaints on the net about this businessman. The situation can be summed up in few examples.
Through these websites offers villas or apartment for rent on holidays. Always rented to people outside Spain, never to spanish people.
Sometimes, image galleries of the flats offered may not correspond at the arrival day, and low quality, of course.
Don´t return the deposite (very common).
The address of the company, shown on the Internet is false.
Once collected the money does not respond to calls or emails.
If you find him could be aggressive.
And in my opinion, the best example, offers repossessed properties for the bank¡¡¡¡ without any licenses¡¡¡¡

Now trading under the name Hilton Villas. Once the money was paid we heard nothing from them even though we tried to contact them several times when we had a problem with the apartment. As other reports state the deposit has not been refunded and telephone numbers no longer exist and no reply from emails.

The service of Crystal Rentals Spain is horrible. No deposit returned after half a year.
Do do not do business with these people at all, it's all fake business. After paying you will not get in touch with them anymore. No returned phonecalls and if they pick up, they will tell you they will call back later.
If I had known before I would not have rented a house with these people.
Jenny and Paul are not to be trusted!!

Similar to other reviews my experience with crystal rentals spain is far from ideal. We rented a 13 bed villa from 17-19 september and are still waiting to get our deposit back. Apart from guiding us to the villa and handing over the keys, Paul and Jenny have done nothing to accomodate any of our requests for route descriptions, extra keys, inflatable spare bed and information about parking spaces near the villa. The most important issue is the refund of our deposit. I have tried to contact them by email and phone without success.

We Rented A Villa With Crystal Rentals Spain, Pai
We rented a villa with Crystal Rentals Spain, paid the deposit in Feb for a 2 week rental starting September 4th. Yhe house we rented was an * bedroom 10 bathroom villa on the ocean. We arrived and could not find the villa so Paul met us at a round about and we followed to the villa. The villa was not the one we reted and actually the one we rented was next door. Paul started to give us a tour and then tried to leave before he had shown any of the bedrooms, we actually had to stand in front of his car to prevent him from leaving, the house had only 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms for our party of 15 people. When confronted about being the wrong house, Paul stated that they no longer had the contract for the house next door and were replacing this villa for that one. Paul stated "I dont understand what the problem is, you rented a villa and we gave you a villa", He then produced an air mattress and stated that was all he could do then quickly made his way off without any introduction to the workings of the house or even where to put the trash. We made numerous calls to the agency demanding a resolution however we were promised that someone would return our calls and they never did. During one phone contact with Paul he stated, " then just sue me", We eventually reached an employee named Andrea who was in England related to a relatives illness. when demanding a contact number for someone on Sunday we were told by Paul, " it is Sunday and you have no right to demand to call anyone on Sunday as it is their day off, dont you have weekends off?". 2 weeks went by and no-one ever returned our calls. We had to book hotel rooms near the property for the extra people and at an extreme personal expense. On the checkout day we waited for someone to come but then had to leave so we again called Paul who quickly stated just leave the keys and go as the housekeepers will soon be there and pick them up. It has now been 10 days since the end of that miserable trip and despite countless emails to the agency, Jenny in particular who was the agent we had rented from we have not heard a word about getting our deposit back despite the emails I had received in Feb that it would be returned in 48 hours. I have also called 4 top 5 times a day and usually get only a voice mail in Spanish, did reach the office once however when I asked for Jenny I was instructed that she was not htere and would probably return by afternoon however no such luck as of yet reaching them. I will continue to pursue this however relentlesly. If anyone has the desire to pursue legal action against this company maybe we should join as a class action suit as I certainly am considering a lawsuit especially if I dont receive the deposit soon. My party had a terrible experience with Crystal Rentals as well (now called Hilton Villas) and my review is below yours. Continue to be relentless. We were overcharged by one day, so we finally did see our overpayment returned but we have not seen our deposit returned. They are running a very sketchy business and in fact, they had to change their company name because of all the bad press! We are still owed our deposit which is 750 euros and we will keep demanding it be returned. Their service is unacceptable. It's no surprise they are losing contracts on some houses. It will quickly dwindle if this is the type of service they offer. Paul was unreachable, Jenny only contacted us up until we paid. We have contacted attorneys.
With all the bad press, it seems Crystal Rentals SPain is not Hilton Villas. They are probably trying to get out of all the money they owe!

I Want To Review The Awful Experience We Had With
I want to review the awful experience we had with the Crystal Rentals agency in Spain. We stayed at 24 Calle de Ojen for 9 days (charged for 10 and no refund seen yet). Though we were able to enjoy our trip, the first impression of the agency was bad and only got worse!
Communication between Jenny and myself was ok until they received our payment. After that, it was obvious that we were not important anymore.
Paul met us at the house and gave us one key for the back gate and one for the front and that's all for a house that sleeps 12! The house is stated as being in Puerto Banus in some of the online listings yet when the address was sent to us a few weeks before the trip (after payment), it was clearly in Estepona.
Paul said call him anytime if there's a problem. Well that was a huge lie because we were unable to get a hold of him. We couldn't even leave a message or send a text. Our power went out and we wasted a whole day of vacation trying to find someone who could fix it.
If you're planning on using the tennis court, don't! This tennis court is in terrible shape. The net wasn't even up but Paul said it would be fixed.
The sliding doors are broken and I was assured someone would check it out but nobody did for our entire trip. Our group is lucky none of the 6 young children ran out for a swim by themselves in the ungated, uncovered pool.
Not only were things in bad shape (dryer that doesn't spin, refrigerator that doesn't close, air con remotes missing, ants, roaches, cloudy pool, broken dishwasher and broken lawn furniture) but we are being accused of breaking those items just so they can keep our deposit.
We are taking this further with legal action. Don't use Crystal Rentals Spain
Crystal Rentals Spain is getting so many bad reviews because of their worse than poor service that they went and changed their name to Hilton Villas
so beware of Hilton Villas rentals too!!

Yet Another Disaster At The Hands Of Jenny And Pau
Yet another disaster at the hands of Jenny and Paul at Crystal Rentals. We too stayed at The White House, Calle de Ojen which claimed to be in Marbella just 5 minutes from Puerto Banus. It is in fact in Estepona a good 15 minutes away.
The description was far from accurate:
500m from the beach....possibly if you can fly but for all humans this is blatently untrue
Tennis Court....well there is a tarmac area with lines painted on it when we arrived the net was broken so really more like a carpark than an tenis court. We were assured this would be repaired but this never happened.
The tumble dryer, fridge, dishwasher and sky tv are all broken
All the furniture was beyond tired and there were several items in the garden that were totally broken
The lounge doors do not lock making this very very dangerous for small children and Im not surprised to hear someone else in this property fell victim to a break in.
We had major problems with the power supply and Paul just failed to answer his phone despite us calling over 50 times between us.
Two of the children had flea bites and there were cockroaches in all the bathrooms.
And to top it off they are now claiming all the damage was done by us with a few extras thrown in and refusing to refund our deposit.
AVOID THIS FEEBLE EXCUSE FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS THEY WILL MISLEAD, OVERCHARGE, IGNORE YOUR CALLS AND STEAL YOUR DEPOSIT!!!!!!

We Stayed In The Whitehouse, 24 Calle De Ojen, Bet
We stayed in the Whitehouse, 24 Calle de Ojen, between Marbella and Puerto Banus. The villa was described as being in Puerto Banus which it evidently was not.
I've not much to say, the villa was supposed to sleep 13 although it wasn't mentioned that one of those beds was an inflatable matress. All furniture and appiances were well past their sell by date and the whole place was "very tired". The upper rubber seal on the fridge was ineffectual due being in the firing line of hot air coming out of the oven which left us mainly using the backup fridges in the laundry room as the kitchen fridge didn't get that cold.
Judging from other posts about Crystal Rentals I think we were lucky in that this property was the main home of the owners outside of peak season (I may be wrong about that) and thus was kept reasonably maintained, with malfuctions being sorted within a few days.
They certainly need to get the cleaning sorted out as the BBQ was in a real state when we arrived.
One good thing was that a Thai maid sorted my stiff neck out on the first day with an excruciating massage... but that had nothing to do with Crystal Rentals.
Over all, the place was just very tired and needed the £9k we paid for our two weeks spent on renewing appliances/furniture etc. I don't know if we should expect any different from the area but the infamous Paul was a simple wide boy in Porsche, affable enough but ultimately useless. Being burgled on our last night didn't help with things.
Would I use them again... never!
Do you have the owner's information or any other contact for Jenny or Paul? We stayed there probably right after you and they aren't giving us our refund back PLUS we paid for one extra night and they haven't given that back either. Crystal Rentals is a terribly run company and Paul must be taking all the deposits or something because the owner himself hadn't heard from him since July. If you have any contact info from them, I'd appreciate it. I can't let them get away with stealing 1300+ euros.

Booked A Villa For 15 People From Crystal Rentals
Booked a villa for 15 people from Crystal Rentals in June 2010. Paid 2 months in advance. Turned up at the airport as arranged and phoned Paul, to be told they had double booked the villa, but would take us to another one. Instead of a flat one-level villa on the beach we were taken to one up in the mountains with 5 seperate marble or stone staircases. We had 7 children in the party - 5 of them under 6. We said that it was dangerous and we didn't want to stay there. Paul said we had no choice, refused to give us any compensation or alternative accomodation and left.
The villa had no shops or restaurants in walking distance. No maid service. Only 4 sunbeds for 8 adults. Had not been cleaned properly, one of the beds was a blow up mattress, no welcome pack, no emergency numbers, no local info, no appliance instructions.
Panel in one of the patio doors had been shattered. Were told it would be fixed during our stay. Never was - very dangerous for the children.
Had no hot water for 2 days. Called Paul and he never phoned back. In the end managed to turn on more gas bottles and restart the bolier by ourselves.
We then looked up the villa on the internet - it was substantially cheaper than the one we had paid for. Despite us asking repeatedly, Paul and Jenny both refused to refund us the difference.
They turned what was supposed to be a memoral family get-together into a nightmare. Since we have been back we have continued to complain to them, but they just lie and refuse to give us a refund or any compensation.
This is a terrible company with the worst treatment of customers I have ever experienced. They will take your money and leave you to it. More importantly - they do not give you a written rental agreement - something that all decent letting agencies do. No rental agreement means that you have no rights whatsoever, and they can do what they like with no consequences. Avoid any letting agency that does not give you a written rental agreement - and as for Crystal Rentals - aviod them like the plague!

Very Poor Service, Communication And Problem Solvi
Very poor service, communication and problem solving. Paying upfront for something is always a risk, somtimes it proves to be a poor decision. With regards to Crystal Rentals this is not a fair trading compnay and has left a very bad taste in our mouth. We would NOT recommend using this company.
No running water, No electricity, not even a kettle. This having pad substantial amount of money in advance, we had to leave due to a young family and pay for a hotel as the issues could not be resolved. This was argued by Crystal rentals and we are seeking our money back.
In businesss I have always been told the proof of a good company is no the way it deals with it's normal business but how it deals with it's problems in normal business. Very poor and most distressed customer.
