Dodgy

I booked with clear blue seas 2009 no probs at all. However read they went into liquidation just before booking a holiday with a company called we are holidays who advised me they needed my card number but would not take any money from it to secure my booking, alarm bells rang as soon as I was asked for that most companies would need a deposit to secure it.

Clear Blue Seas In Liquidation Re Refunds

firstly thank you to the person who advised on 1/08/12 that Clear Blue seas went into liquidation. We eventually got our money back.

If you have booked by credit card and like ourselves found the accomodation had been cancelled on arrival, you are entitled to what is called a charge back. In Ireland the time limit for the claim is 60 days from date of commencement of your holiday. We just made the dead line. We gave the cr card company as much info as possible, copies of confirmation of booking, payment, credit cards statement, and we managed to get the cancellation reference no from a staff member at the Hotel. Details of the company managing the liquidation with their address and phone no.

Liquidators are Wilson Field

Stay Well Clear

Booked a villa in Coral Bay Cyprus, booked in April, holiday was in July and arrived in the middle of the night to find the villa already occupied. If it had not been for the wonderful management company for the villa we had supposedly booked, goodness knows what we would have done. All I can advise anyone is to avoid WEARECYPRUS.CO.UK, someone called Andy Fielding as I would imagine that after this company went into liquidation they will have set up under a new name. we never received any help or apologies.

Scam Scam Scam!!

clear blue seas has changed its name to we are holidays ltd, do not book with them. They keep going bust and then setting up again. I have just lost £400 through these fraudsters. The trouble is they dont advertise under this name. I booked the isabel family hotel in teneife and the website was called this aswell...yet they have nothing to do with the hotel. In small print at the bottom of the webpage it now states that the booking is made with we are holidays and not the hotel direct as it claims. After receiveing a letter that they were going into liquidation I contacted the hotel directly. Of course my booking had never been made and no answer from the clear blue seas number. Stay away from this company...pure fraudsters!! I am hoping to get money back through my credit card and have now rebooked the same hotel with booking.com....a reputable company

*** Do Not Use This Company - Fraud Warning ***

I used them to book a holiday to Tenerife in July 2012. Paid them 6k upfront for the holiday for family of 4. CBS assured me that they were the "approved UK agent" for Bahia Del Duque Hotel. When I arrived at the hotel they told me the payment had not been made to them. CBS had only paid for 2 nights through Expedia because the hotel will not deal with them direct due to numerous previous problems. CBS would not refund my money or pay the hotel so I had to pay the hotel a further 5k on day 3 of the holiday to avoid me and my family being evicted from the hotel. After over 60 emails and phone calls CBS refunded around 2k after around 2 weeks, having repeatedly promised full refunds and not paying them. Then the person dealing with my problems, Andy Fielding “left the company”. Only following 8 weeks after my return to UK and having issued a final warning letter threatening legal action within 7 days did I get my money back. Sue the salesperson blatantly lied about the hotels that CBS can deal with. The MD is called Sean Gerrity – he refused to take calls or answer any emails. Deborah in accounts promised that payments had been made but this was all lies. They refused to pay me any compensation despite the costs I incurred and the fact that they ruined my holiday. If I had not been in a position to pay the additional 5k to the hotel we would have had to return to UK on new flights as the originals were non-refundable. This is quite simply my worst experience in more than 30 years of travel to over 50 countries – they are a dishonest, callous and dysfunctional organisation that should be forced to stop trading by the police.

Stay Well Clear Of This Company!!!

We booked a 7 night all inclusive holiday 4star to Lanzarote for a treat for out 10th wedding anniversary. When we arrived at the hotel we were told the reservation had been cancelled as they had not received the payment from Clear Blue Seas. We paid 843 pounds for the week!! We have tried to contact the company by email and telephone and suprise, suprise we have not had a response. We had to book into another hotel for the first night costing a further €112. We went back to our original hotel and they managed to put us up for 5 nights but we had to foot the full cost of this and we also had to make arrangements to stay in a 3rd hotel for our final night as they couldn´t accomodate us and also foot the cost of this. We have spoken to our insurance company who said that we are not covered unde their terms and conditions but fortunately as I booked this through my credit card, they are going to pursue our claim. If anyone has any advice, legally, to try and get our money back and also to get this company to cease trading, I would be grateful.

Rip Off Company!!!! Stay Clear Of Clear Blue Seas Ltd

We booked a family holiday with Clear Blue Seas Ltd for a family of 4 including 2 young children to Tenerife. They charged my credit card in full immediately for over €7200 Euro and I got suspicious so checked with Hotel and they did not have any reservations for us. 2 weeks on I am still trying to get my money via credit card company and Hotel again, has confirmed there is no booking for us. We were due to fly out on 4th of August and now can't go so Children are devasted. I hope the staff & Directors can sleep at night because they are the most aweful company to deal with. I will get my time in court if I don't get my refund and I hope the judge throws the book at the lot of them!

Never Again

We booked with clear blue seas earlier this year,

After laying out quite clearly what we wanted,

We got entirely the opposite. Despite frequent

Emails they have kept putting us off by saying they

Are looking into it, 4 months on I doubt it , probably

Hoping we'll get tired I suppose , anyway our holiday

With our children was ruined ,

thanks Andy and Clear Blue Seas

Avoid Them - They Do Not Provide What They Say They Will!

We are just back from a 2 week holiday in one of their villas in Coral Bay, Cyprus (Villa Vasilika or Coral Bay). The villa was lovely but the service from Clear Blue seas, and in particular Andy Fielding, was very poor. We asked for a villa with heated pool and he steered us to this one. He confirmed it had heating and it was switched on ready for us to use and that the house had just had an "IKEA style makeover". We were also promised a welcome pack and a discount card for local restaurants and dive operators. We arrived to find no welcome pack (and no-one to let us in), we phoned repeatedly but never got the discount card, and the owner of the villa laughed when we asked how to turn on the pool heating - there was none! The villa was also not recently made over but still in traditional cypriot still with masses of glass and china on display - not good with toddlers on holiday! I have since emailed to complain but had no reply. We are very experienced villa renters and I would steer clear of this company!

Do Not Use

We paid Clear blue Seas for a weeks hotel stay at a Disney Hotel in Florida

We arrived at the hotel only to find that they had failed to pay the hotel so the room was cancelled

By the time we had relised that the paymant hadnt been sent by clear blue seas the room had been resold and the hotel to be fully booked

We have three kids all at that time under 5
