Booked advance tickets online Leeds to Middlesbrough.
Me and my 3 year old.
Got to the train station to be told I had to download some app to activate my ticket, my train had been cancelled, (someone tried to kill their self) not realy what my 3 year old wants to hear. Then had to get train to York and from York to Middlesbrough. Carrying heavy bags and with a toddler. Didn't get told my train had been cancelled till I got ther. Would of just got a refund but non refundable ticket apparently.
What should of took us 1 hour 20 minutes was near enough doubled.! Not happy at all and obviously didn't get the seats I reserved!..now I have to get back to Leeds soon. I'm seriously considering using another train company or even coach!!
