The Yellow Duckmarine tour in Liverpool was a hilarious experience, most city tours I have experienced have been interesting but dull. They say all Scousers are stand up comedians and going on one of these tours reenforces that. The tour guide and the driver constantly bounced jokes off one another, I'm not sure how much of what was said was true, but that didn't matter. The tour takes place on an amphibious vehicle through the streets of Liverpool and then on the water through the Albert docks. Even the fact that the vehicle we were in did not have enough power to climb out of the dock via the steep jetty was made light of and added to the experience. We took a small detour to exit the docks by a less steep jetty. If you are new to Liverpool or even if you know the city, I would thoroughly recommend these tours.
