I must tell you how impressed we were with The Med Travel Centre service and indeed with Turkey in general. I've been travelling back and forth between PNG/Australia and Northern Europe on an at least annual basis for over 40 years and for some reason it's never occurred to me to even stopover in Istanbul before now. I'm just so relieved that I stumbled across your web site and gave you a call before my travel agent had me signed up for 2 weeks with Sun Island Tours. Their glossy brochure had made it look like an interesting trip around all the usual tourist areas in Turkey but, on closer examination, it seemed to me we'd be spending 90% of our time sitting in the back of a bus and being herded around like cattle. Your tailor-made itinerary suited us perfectly. The smaller boutique hotels also suited us well and we have no complaints at all. The La Vista in Kusadasi really stands out. The setting was superb but we'd also rate highly the Oyster Residences in Olu Deniz and the Stone Cave Hotel in Goreme for both convenience of location and for the friendly and helpful service received. The guides were all good but we particularly enjoyed the knowledgeable company of Mehmet in Istanbul.

I think what really made the trip for us was the excellent support provided by your assistant Ihsan Dincel. He could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he never let us down in organising the various extra trips which we requested - usually at the last minute.

Thank you for such an enjoyable introduction to your adopted country and to its hospitable people and fascinating culture. I'm sure we'll be in contact with you again when planning our next trip.

Med Travel Centre arranged our private tour and everything went well except the weather, but that was beyond their control! I was really impressed with the professional approach, they responded very quickly to all my queries and carried through with all arrangements.
