We are two Danish families who in the first two weeks of February enjoyed a 7-days safari and 9-days beach holiday in Kenya. The entire program was arranged by Go Kenya Tours and Safaris and was outstanding. We visited both Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli and Tsavo and saw big five plus almost all other animals imaginable. Our driver and guide Dickson was an extremely nice and knowledgable guide and we really enjoyed the week we spend with him. The lodges were excellent and the food was very good. Our vacation started a bit chaotic as we due to a snow storm missed our late evening plane from Amsterdam to Nairobi. We were supposed to be picked up at Nairobi Airport the following morning but had to SMS and e-mail Robert Kathiti, the sales manager of Go Kenya Tours and Safaris, that we would not be in the airport the following morning. Even though we thought it would be practically impossible we asked whether he would try to re-arrange the entire program meaning changing reservations of 4 lodges and the beach hotel. Within 10 minutes (2 AM in Nairobi) Robert replied that he would work on that immediately the following morning. Next morning Robert phoned us personally and informed that he had re-arranged the entire program, booked a hotel for us to stay the first night in Nairobi and re-arranged for pick-up at the airport. At the end of our vacation we had to fly from Mombasa to Nairobi before catching the plane back to Europe. Robert personally met us Saturday evening in Nairobi Airport just to say hello and to secure that everything went smoothly in relation to checking in on the international flight back to Europe. After returning back to Denmark Robert informed us that he had managed to get a refund from the beach hotel for the one night we did not use which he subsequently wired back to us. We cannot recommend Go Kenya Tours and Safari and Robert Katithi enough. The company and Robert provided an outstanding service, has a very high moral and integrity and we would not hesitate to strongly recommend Go Kenya Tours and Safaris to anyone who plan to have a vacation in Kenya.
