It's Ice Maker Needed To Be Replaced After Only 1.
It's ice maker needed to be replaced after only 1.5 years. It's now 2.5 years old and the meat tray and 1 of 2 vegetable cripers are broken. My prior fridge was a Maytay and 15 years old and never even needed servicing - it's still humming along in the garage as an overflow. I would NOT recommend any LG product based upon the flimsy interior build and less than satisfying customer service.

I Have Looked At Similar Reviews And Like So Many
I have looked at similar reviews and like so many lg customers i am now in the process of waiting on a service man to call and tell me the obvious that there is cracks on the fridge. To my supprise it is the service man that i was waiting on for three weeks to come and fix my washing machine(he never showed). I went and got a new machine). I hope that he calls soon as my one year warranty is up in a few weeks and i might not be covered.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my LG (Life's Good). But I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend an Extended Service Plan through GE. If your sales rep recommends it - RUN THE OTHER WAY!

The Fridge Looks Great. I Purchased It At Grant's
The fridge looks great. I purchased it at Grant's appliance and it hasn't worked from day 1. The freezer never worked and we've never been able to get ice from the ice dispenser. I was trying to get LG to exchange it for another one but I was denied saying they'd repair it. A tech was sent to my home and said it needs a new evaporator, which will take a week to order and 4 hrs. to install. I explained to LG that a 4 hr. Repair is unreasonable for a new refrigerator that has no food in it and has never been used and that they should replace it. I was denied replacement. I then tried to get Grant's involved and supposedly they spoke to the LG rep and said they would replace it but there aren't any in stock. I'm still waiting to hear from Grant's as to when my defective fridge will be replaced. I feel as though I am getting the run-around from Grant's. LG was horrible with their customer support. Grant's offered to give me a different appliance but I still prefer the LG design. I am very dissatisfied with LG and will never purchase any of their products because of their poor customer support. I 'm hoping Grant's comes through for me, but that remains to be seen.
