“WOW Borders!”

This book is simply quilts with no sashing as the outside edges. Yes, there is binding but no long strips on the edges that can get “wavy”. This is a simple idea and a great way to use up fabric that might otherwise not be use or just go into your scrap stash. A dozen quilts are provided and any templates needed are at 100%. Each pattern also includes a tip set off in a colored box. Lots of graphics show you how to create the blocks and the written instructions are easily understood. A paragraph about the quilt is shown under each colored photo of the finished quilt. Sizes include table runners, wall hangings and various sized quilts. They are done in lots of colors and various themes. About half contain applique and half are only pieced so you have a choice of the type of quilt you wish to make. There is a short bio about the author at the end of the book. If you need a creative nudge on how to border your quilts, you can’t go wrong with this book.
