Had my solar panels now since 2013. Last few years I have been having issues with pigeons nesting & poop all over the place. Been trying to contact them number of times & they WILL NOT do anything about it. I have also asked about removal but they are not interested. This has also cost me problems when remortgaging after a divorce with my ex.
SO UNTILL THEY ACCEPT SOME LIABILITY I HAVE TURNED OFF THE PANELS TO GET SOME ATTENTION. Let see what happens NOW.

Did you get anywhere by turning them off? How long before they noticed? I'm contemplating the same, as I need them removing too fix my roof.

It seems to me there are thousands of us with the same complaints/problems, i.e. pigeons, roof leaks and roof replacement etc. I am also in the same boat.

I wanted to know why they need £1000.00 deposit (refundable). They told me " It was because customers refused to have the panels refitted". WOW there's a surprise.

Having considered this matter, I can see only 2 courses of action.

1 We all get together, not difficult now with the internet, and pool our financial resources and take joint legal action against this company. We can't all be wrong. Especially with a massive 1.3 star rating.

2 Organize a PEACEFUL protest outside the homes of directors.

At the very least it would let the neighbours know how they earn their massive salaries and bonuses, i.e. at the expense, pain and suffering of the customer.

Furthermore, I don't understand how the customer service teams can live with the shame of their own disgusting behaviour. I would rather sign on, than be so rude and abusive. Still I suppose it takes all kinds.
