Nokia X3 Touch and Type

A little wonder that is able to perform mighty tasks-this is the first impression many consumers got after a little fiddle with the Nokia X3 Touch and Type. Although seemingly small and unassuming this phone is full of pleasant goodness. In recent times, many have become used to the typical smartphones on the market so much so that they don’t give any attention to the good old classics. This phone is a brilliant find as it merges two ways of using a mobile phone in one; it makes use of a touchscreen as well as keypads to provide every user with a comfortable experience.

Being a product from Nokia as well, it is durable, cleverly constructed and a very functional phone which should be able to meet the needs of the non-technology savvy ones as it isn’t very complicated. The looks of the Nokia X3 Touch and Type phone is smart, simple and just practical for the everyday user who wants to get on without the fuss of recent smartphones. What is also good to know is, it is very slim and light. One is able to navigate through the phone quite easily-whether you fancy sending an email or a text message via the touch screen or keypad. It does give it a bit of a cool and funky edge.

The features of the phone although there are not particularly many are quite enough for those not needing a rather complicated phone. The 5 MP camera sits at the back of the phone and produces decent quality pictures. You just can’t complain. It also features micro SD, 3G, FM radio and Wi-Fi.

Reviewers at Phone Arena, complimented the good looks of the phone but noted although the phone seemed to have a 5 MP camera, the photos came out grainy and very dull coloured. The Wi-Fi according to another wasn’t great as it didn’t have flash and couldn’t play most content. Another user agreed with this review on the CNET, advising that it wasn’t able to multitask whilst using the internet. Also although it seemed like a light and stylish phone it didn’t seem to offer much for the price.

Consumers at Phone Arena and PC World commented on how the battery was sub-standard and didn’t last very long. The touchscreen also wasn’t responsive according to most users and was annoying to use. The majority of users advised this was a basic phone that looked good and was great for making calls and sending texts but nothing more.
