I travel a lot and always have to buy an unlocked phone as I use different carriers. So I had to pay a bit more obviously, but for 180 quid its a bargain and its good to have a windows phone that's never crashed! I have had many Windows phones before, all have been with I-mate which used HTC for phones until their last models (which crashed all the time).
Its a bit heavy, but it gives you the quality feel.
I use T-mobile when I'm in the UK & USA, never had any problems with them. I have them both on pay as you go and will say the UK company is better value. I have fast internet connection which cost 20 quid for 6 months and never had any problems with restrictions or limits.
Back to the phone, the Windows Op is good, its very much ringed, so you cant do very much freely, everything has to go through the App store. The app store is what put me off the Iphone as I like running a few programs of my own, but that's the way the market is and will be, this is one reason why Smart Phones will become limited, the HTC Pro 7 has a great keyboard, screen, Windows office and a lot of processing power which I can't use due to windows operating system being ringed and now I have had to resort more often to using my laptop.
Do not expect Windows 7 to be anything like previous windows phones, its more a toy, but does what it says. Great for surfing the web, playing games, emailing and Office etc.
