I booked my garage early March for delivery w/c 26th May. I paid in full early April. The week before I was expecting delivery I phoned to see what day it was coming. I was told it wouldn't be delivered until 4th June. When I said I had booked it for w/c 26 May I was told that they were fully booked for that week (surely not everyone books as far in advance as I had) and 4th June was the soonest they could/would deliver. The first panel that was offloaded was cracked . The installers told me that they would fit it and then come back to replace it. When I inspected the garage after they left I was so unhappy with it I asked the agent I had booked through to have a look at it. He highlighted another 4 panels that needed replacing and said he would speak to Hansons. After 2 weeks I rang Hansons to see when they were coming back.I was told it would be the following week - 3 weeks after the first visit. When they did eventually turn up they only had 4 panels instead of the 5 required. One of the panels they replaced had a big piece broken off the corner. The installer offer to 'put a bit of sand and cement in'! I'm sorry but when I've paid for a new garage I don't want it bodged up, I want a new garage. When I said no, he said they would have to come back anyway so would replace it then. I was told someone would ring me to arrange it - they didn't. I had to ring again but did get the 2 panels changed in the next couple of days. All in all I found the whole experience very frustrating. In their favour, they did give me some lining clips foc because they had to come back.
