Got a Yamaha Cygnus 125. Starts off electric start but seems too be jamming on the kick start. Can anyone help please?

After replacing rollers air filter and spark plug the bike has no power in acceleration. It will not go over 30 kmh especially on a hill. What could be the problem? It has the mechanic baffled?

I have the above Yamaha Cygnus NXC 125 (08 plate), I have full battery, but no power to start. Is this something to do with the coil? Or could it be something else? I have no spark from the spark plug to the coil, and it also does not start using the kick start. Please help.

Yes it does. The steering locks over to the left when the key is turned opposite way to turning the ignition on.
