“Delaying deposit towards purchase of a property ”

I have been banking well with metro bank until recently when funds was transferred from abroad by my friend for a deposit for a property and funds was put in a suspense account. and I was asked to provide proof of what the funds were for which I have provided after about three days I called the branch and I was told that they have not heard from head office .
