This is my first and last Nissan. I was originally drawn to Nissan by the quality of Nissan hire cars I drove in the past; but unfortunately Nissan customer services and warranty leave a lot to be desired. All excuses and no solutions. I think it is time to get rid of the car and buy something more reliable and with better customer service.

Would definitely recommend Nissan 2.5 SVE Automatic 2003 UK model, as long as your willing to live with these few niggles detailed below. I previously drove a BMW and thus having to live with these problems is a bit of a struggle.
1) The car rolls back when you are in 'D' on the auto gearbox, on more steeper hills/slopes and the car is stationary. For example, you are watiting at a traffic light on a hill, if you don't press the accelerator or have the handbrake on then the car will roll back. I have never had this problem with any other automatic car.
2) On the drivers door there is a cluster of switches. The switch for the Power Door Lock (i.e. the one that locks all the doors) is not illuminated at night when you switch the headlights on. So, at night you have to difficulty locating the switch.
3) We had the rear parking sensors fitted - optional extra. On colder days they have on occaision not worked (i.e. you don't hear any beeps).
Overall though, glad I went for the 2.5 engine as this is sufficiently powerful for such a big car.
