Florianopolis, Hotel Marea

The Florianopolis is good hotel for Americans who need very personal service to navigate a Brazilian vacation. Watch out for the 5% gratuity added to the bill at the end of your stay. I felt bad and really liked the staff so I agreed to pay it. I have great memories of my stay at Marea and checking out such great beaches on the island.

I feel hotel Marea is an excellent choice for first timers on the island. The staff are very helpful and courteous. Since there are only 32 rooms and only a handful of rooms occupied when I was there I received the best service I could imagine.
