I’ve had a lot of fun on this bike. But to own one u must b Mechanically minded and Willing to do lots of maintenance and chicken nuts and bolts. Gearing was bad I had to adapt a pit bike race Brocket now from thrashing its nuts off at 50 I can cruise along at 70 no problems. You get what you pay for and for the price on this bike is awesome

The BTS GY200 198cc is good value, handles well, good winter hack , good brakes, lights good, good comuter, rubber perishes ie fuel pipe ,change for good quality,(loss of fuel or fire) eletric start sticks some times ,use kicker ,starts easy. dont drop, plastics break easy ,but partsare cheep, compaired to jap bikes. nuts and bolts vibrate loose regular maintance, use locktight or n.ylocks .like owning british. bike. engine seems sound .I have owned for over 1year

I spend lots of time on back roads and green lanes (2000 miles worth) in Somerset - its ideal even pulled itself out of mud which came up to my knees. Why pay £2500 for a similar size JAP, they are better finished but not that much.
Fitted sport airfilter and main jet and the lower gear sprocket - I have got up to 120 mpg when cruising around at 30-40mph.
Try it - you'll buy it.

I have had 2 bikes from China - A 125 4 speed youth bike that I bought for my son, who convinced me that Chinese bikes have good Japanese clone motors and that makes them a steal at the prices they sell for. The 125 has dual twin piston caliper disk breaks and a great sounding off road muffler. The motor has been bullet proof and at $670.00 delivered price it was a great value.
I just bought the GY200 from Chongqing Huansong Industries. There are many versions of this bike from different factories in China all basically the same. China is the number one manufacturer of motorcycles in the world by numbers of bikes produced.
The bike was truck shipped from Los Angeles for $995.00 plus $375.00 shipping. I had to mount the front wheel, connect the headlight and put on the bodywork. When I tried to pump grease into the swing arm grease fitting it sprayed out the side of the poorly welded nut that held the fitting. At that point I disassembled the rear suspension and repacked it with grease. It was totally dry.
The suspension is adequate. The rear shock is a fairly cheap looking unit with no adjustment. It looks fairly strong though and provides a stiff suspension. The front forks look great with gold anodized finish. They are stout and seem to work well. The rims are gold anodized aluminum and look great. The tires are Chinese...
The gauges are very good for a bike in this price range. There is a speedometer in km/hr, an odometer, a trip meter, a gear meter, parking light, brights, horn and blinkers. The blinkers have a beeper that sounds when they are on and the horn is loud. The instrument cluster lights up when the lights are on.
This one has a dual piston disk break on the rear and single piston disk on the front with a "pressure antilock" device on the caliper. Not sure what the operation of the antilock system is, but the breaks are adequate and feel firm.
The motor starts and runs very well. It is fairly hard to kick start, probably due to the newness of the motor. It is suprizingly quiet at idle and not too loud at higher RPM's. The carbureter looks like ones I have seen on Japanese bikes and works well. This is a welcome upgrade from the cheap carb on my 125. I have only riden the bike for about 5 miles since it is not registered yet, but I can tell that the engine has good power and the gear box shifts well. Still a little stiff, but I am sure it will loosen up in a few hundred miles. I definitely am sold on the quality of these Chinese motors. Not as refined as Japanese, but reliable and for the price....
The body work is a flat finished plastic that looks great and fits together well. It does collect scuff marks very easily though. But who cares, this is a dirt bike rite!
