“Failure to notify delivery ”

Call centre unhelpful & default seems to be to blame customer System failed to notify delivery of good & fittng sttaion also fiaeld to contact customer. Each blames the other Service side of the arrangement is poor as is customer communication although delivery into UK is rapid. This is my second such experience with them so I won't use them again. First time I put it down as one off but that seems not to be so!

“Poor customer service”

Ordered the tyres on 20/05/2017. Acknowledged order, said delivery would be within a 5-day window.....heard nothing else, apart from wanting me to write a review. Hearing nothing in 5 days, is only worth 2 starts. If they had continued with dialogue or emails, may have been 4 stars.....very poor customer relations, would not recommend at all.....and found out I could have got them cheaper and quicker locally......

unfortunately as all the information as regards tracking my parcel are in German, and I don't speak the language, the tracking page is not much use to me. As of this moment, I have not received the parcel, nor do I know where it is. This aspect obviously needs some attention. On the face of it, it would appear as if you are trying to provide a good service, but I cannot comment further as I have not yet received the parcel

“Old tyres”

I thought I'd use Mytyres for the replacements for my Jimny. The car is 5 years old now and because it is so light, the car benefits from new rubber to get the best grip. I ordered the tyres and they duly arrived, but one of them was manufactured in 2012 (5 years old). I thought I was buying new tyres!

“Poor Information”

Using the website is easy, when choosing your fitting centre, the opening times of my local centre were incorrect. This meant that I had wasted time on my first trip to the fitting centre as they were closed even though mytyres website said that the fitting centre should be open. The mytyres contact number also was directed to a number in the US when I called them on a Saturday morning. Considering the size of the company I find this extremely poor. I would recommend that you find the tyres you want and then contact your choice of fitting centre directly and purchase through them.

“Poor communication and transparency”

Firstly easy to find a suitable product ( Uniroyal Rain Expert 3 175/R14 82T tyres x 2) with a good price BUT he first thing was that although the website mentions fitting agents for you to choose from it is not clear at checkout whether the cost of fitting is already included in the original price that was quoted. I went back to start and went through it again looking carefully and still got the same result. I called the company on a UK number but spoke to someone with a German accent. Not a problem at all but I was not sure whether this was a UK based employee or not. The call took quite a while to connect. They advised me to tick a box at the start of the process for fitting if required. I went through the process again but no box. I went through to the checkout assuming then that there would be a charge having selected a fitting agent. I looked up the agent's details and saw that the price was good. I placed the order. Only then did I get a delivery time when the order was paid for and confirmed. At the same time there was a link to click in that email to confirm that the fitting date (the 9th Feb) would be the date for fitting. The order was placed on Tuesday 31st January and delivery was quoted as 9 days later on Thursday 9th February. This worried me as my MOT test was to be on Friday 10th. I called the UK fitting agent later that first day and was told that if the package arrived early that they would call me to arrange fitting straight away. Over the next 2/3 days I clicked on the PDP delivery link (PDP GERMANY) which included my delivery number but this kept coming up "package not yet handed over to PDP". On Monday the 6th I checked with PDP on the UK site and found that the tyres had actually been delivered on 2nd February!!! I was able to book a fitting time 3 hours later that day.

“Website stock levels incorrect!”

RE: Pirelli P Zero 255/30 r20 92Y Run Flat Website says 4 tyres in stock, however when trying to confirm over the phone, I am told there are none in stock and it is unknown when new ones will come in. I am told to check the website to see when they get more?!

“My experience was not good”

I ordered and paid for a set of tyres,after phone calls and email to chase this order I was told they were not in stock and they could not supply them at the price advertised,I was told to apply for a refund! After emails and phone calls I did receive a full refund. My advice is make sure they have the tyres in stock before you order and pay for them this will save you all the emails and phone calls to get your money back!

“Unsightly Oxidisation”

I purchased a wheel and tyre set 4 years ago. I am very disappointed with the deterioration in the look of the wheels. I contacted My Tyres to ask if they had any suggestions as to what cleaning products/process might improve the appearance. They were extremely dismissive consequently I said that I wished to raise a complaint. After a couple of attempts on my behalf they have yet to have to deal with my complaint. On the performance side the winter tyres have done extremely well and I would recommend them to drivers who want that piece of mind when the conditions go below 7C or when we have snow. I live in Scotland and last year on one occasion I drove in pretty bad snowy conditions and my BMW 5 series coped extremely well all thanks to the Dunlop SP Sport 3D winter tyres.

“Poor service from fitting center”

I was in expectation the mobile fitting can fit at home, but they said will charge more. So decide to go to the center to avoid extra charge. Only then they still charge more than average fitting price. I wish there is an option to paid upfront, as few other web based Tyre shop.

“Still waiting”

It's six days since I ordered tyres and I am still waiting to hear that they have been delivered. And yet My Tyres have asked me to submit a review?!? Maybe when the tyres actually arrive I will be more satisfied but as things stand at the moment I am pretty disappointed about how long the whole process is taking. I was told on day one that the tyres are expected to arrive tomorrow but I have heard nothing about progress. Had I known in advance how slow the delivery is, I would probably have made my purchase elsewhere.

“Fitting needs to improve!”

Good to be able to review and order tyres at leisure rather than be pressurised - excuse the pun - at a tyre fitting company. Good prices as well. However, you're then dependent on a 'mytyres' fitting company and their convenience and charging. Better to have your own garage or fitting company sorted out first and then ship to them.

Description on the website says it's a all season tyre, after receiving the tyre I can tell this is winter tyre only. Would be good if the description could be accurate as it's big difference between winter and all season tyre.

“Utterly Rubbish Customer Service”

After searching around for a good tyre company I decided to go with MyTyres for 1: Their good prices 2: Their good selections 3: Positive reviews from others HOWEVER, this is one major problem with MyTyres Customer Service: I ordered some Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2, after my order as usual I received a confirmation email. 5 Days later, still no dispatch email or not even an email telling me whether or not they were in stock. I rang the customer service and was greeted by the most utterly monotone, boring, despairing voices to ever grace this fine green earth. The conversation went like this: Me: I'd like to ask when my tyres will be dispatched? Its been 5 days and still no contact Woman: Sorry, I don't know Me: Have the tyres left the warehouse? Woman: No, we'll tell you when they do Me: I need these tyres in a hurry, so can you at least tell me if they're in stock? Woman: No Me: So can't give me a date? Woman: No Fair to say after that I cancelled my order. Can't fault mytyres for this, but certain customer services should be re-trained as it is utterly shambolic service. Again, the prices & selection from mytyres is wonderful, but they should at least display stock levels/ estimates of when they're back in stock.

“Could be better”

Ordered my tyres which were very reasonably priced. However after that was a disastrous. Booked a tyre fitter via the my tyres website but when I tried to confirm the appointment I could not get hold of the fitter. When I contacted mytyres they hadn't a clue and couldn't contact the, either. Eventually when I did get in contact with the fitter he hadn't had the appointment sent to him by mytyres and couldn't keep to the appointment I wanted. He then proceed to blame mytyres saying that the mobile fitters are not vetted. I ended up taking my car to ATS who fitted some tyres in 30 minutes. Wouldn't use mytyres again.

“Too too long to deliver and no reply to emails ”

Wheels purchased 27th Nov. It clearly states on their web site delivery is approx 6 days. This company seems incapable of replying to emails even though I contacted them several times. The wheels eventually arrived 21st December however the weights had fallen off so had to get them re-balanced. Spoke to their call ctr complaining and was told I would get compensation plus reimbursed £24 which is the cost of balancing. I have been reimbursed but no compensation. I feel that the company should take responsibility for the very late delivery and compensate me. The wheels and tyres were a great price however this was at the expense of poor service!

“Good price, little communication, poor service.”

I ordered Motorcycle tyres on the 16th December, apart from a confirmation of the order I heard nothing until the 18th when one of the tyres was dispatched. The delivery date was the 29th December, far later than expected and well outside their 5 working day expectation. I had arranged a service and tyre change based on the expected delivery and the tyres would not have arrived in time. I should have been told sooner about the delays and expected delivery dates. I have used Black Circles recently and they deliver the next day, it costs a little more but is a far more reliable service.
