Arrived at the website to do a home move with Talk Talk. I was able to do this solely online - which is always great. Everything was simply laid out, changeable, everything was upfront. I wasn't able to take one of my products with me (Fibre Boost) as it isn't available in my new area. However, all of my broadband speeds were clearly laid out, in easy to understand format. WARNING TO ALL:-Do Not do business with TALKTALK. This company is rubbish. It seems all customer service employees are not trained. They are clueless and have NO RESPECT, NO MANNERS, NO NO NO. The worst internet provider by far. They make promises they cant keep. “So long to move properties!”

Maybe I'm naive but in a modern world where most transactions are virtually instantaneous the first opportunity for Talk Talk to disconnect my old property is 13 days from now and then for some reason I have to wait a further 6 days after that. Yet Talk Talk don't need to send anyone round to do so and I suspect I can probably just plug in the router I have at my old property! I have booked it in for fear if I wait any longer to book I might have to wait until 2020 to get my new home supply… Read Full Review

What a shame , had a contract recently renewed to 18.99£ a month, few months after have asked about moving home date so my contract went from 18.99 to 24.99£ a month. Bare in mind when moving home u sign new 12 months contract, and for new customers there is an offer of 17.99£ a month. TALK TALK what a hell??? Been customer for 9 years… Read Full Review

Agree, same has happened to me as well as it taking them 20 days to move me (and no engineer call out required so not sure why the delay)

“Started as a small move complaint, became a Saga”

I had been locked into TalkTalks patchy service for 8 months and was looking to move house.. Their move order process was looking to up my monthly charge by £5 and lock me in for another 12 months. After contacting someone about this I had to repeat myself 7 times for the Customer Service Agent to realise I wanted the move request cancelled, not my home contract. “Awful customer service”

This company are fine until something goes wrong. If something does go wrong (in my case my broadband not working correctly) it is impossible to get a response from them. They ignore you and if you manage to get through to them on the phone it is almost impossible to make yourself understood. My complaint has been going on for 5 months and wasn't resolved. Good: Good service and very reasonable prices. Bad: Doesn't deal with debt well! I fell on hard times after my partner died, and became a single mother of two. We were on a low income and fell into debt. I explained my situation and budget, but they were asking for more repayment than I could offer. Eventually they sent my case to a debt collection agency who have added interest to the original bill. I am still paying them back and getting monthly statements. I have already moved home yet Talk Talk insist I cannot move until 3 days from now - and even worse I have to wait 24 days before my internet access will "go live". Followed the procedure for moving home; very smooth and clear throughout whole process, flexible on date, and clear that I don't need to be physically there during the switch. My previous move with Talktalk was painful as an admin error cut me out of 3 weeks (2 years ago); the manager finaly helped with proper compensation and apologies, but I am hopeful it will work fine this time. All i wanted to do is move my service 4 doors away from my current address... at first this looked straight forward, Talk Talk stated this would be FREE and i would incur no cost. However, in order to move the service I was told I must take a new shorter contract which cost 15% more than my existing one.
