If there is ever a problem I find that the Live Help Chat is the best contact method. I am glad that packages are available for new and existing customers now which keep existing customers like me happy! Talktalk is the cheapest package that I have found and it has Line Rental included. I used the Home Move process 3 years ago and I think the Online process is alot easier to use and understand now as I just used it to move again… Read Full Review

“House move process has a hiccup”

I am moving house soon and wanted to take talktalk with me. I have been generally happy with the service over the years. I received a TT email to say "We’ve received notification that a customer from another provider is moving to your address and taking over your phone and broadband line on 28 November 2017". That was OK but I wanted to transfer mine to a new address. We are moving to sheltered accommodation which is only about a quarter of a mile away. Happily can keep present number and if the promised speed is provided at the new address I shall be very happy! I lived in Aberdeen.  In July 2017 I bought internet from TalkTalk. In July I got a router. In July 2017 was TalkTalk engineer. He did not connect to the internet. I was waiting. For three months TalkTalk took money from my bank account. Why? I didn't uesed internet. In October I got flat. In my new flat I got a different rate for the internet. Service has been good so far however I am disappointed as I am moving to my new property today so went online to change my address. This will take 10 days until I am able to get wifi in my new property which will lead to missing out on watching my TV apps I pay for and higher charges on my mobile for 3G. “you dont get anywhere near what you are paying for”

when you sign up they will tell you can get upto 38 megs on fast fibre! they forget to do a test for your area. unless you actually ask for one to be done, I am getting very low 20 megs everyone should check this before taking out a contract I have to wait 6 months now before I can get out of contract or pay a fee.just type speed.net and see what speed you are running,when you complain its all in the small print up to 38 megs so you could be running as low as 15 megs most of the time. how… Read Full Review

“Not receiving the service I am paying for ”

Called customer service to request how much it would be to cancel contract due to connection issues (dropped 5 times in the last hour and no wifi connection now for over an hour) this is a continual current issues. 30 minutes into conversation still had not provided me with a cancellation cost, instead tried to sell me an upgrade that was not required!!! and transferred me to customer service who told me it would take 10 days to fix line to optimal performance. Talk Talk customer service is not good. I upgraded to Superfast Fibre broadband with them a few months ago. It started out well and I was getting much faster speeds then before I upgraded. Then the issues began and now I currently only get speeds of around 3 mbs download. I stupidly signed up with TalkTalk earlier in the year after moving and Virgin (who were fine) didn't cover my area. How I wished I'd seen the reviews first. The broadband never got started. I had problem after problem - too many issues to detail here - but the worst was having to deal with the appalling customer service. Never had so much stress in my life. This company is absolutely awful, sent me a router in the post and it didn't work, spent 4 hours on the phone and was told an engineer would come to my house. I took the afternoon off work and they never showed up. I called them and they told me an engineer would be in touch within 72 hours. No one ever came to fix the problems so I cant comment on the connection speed because I never got round to using it. I cancelled the contract and I would never even think about using them again. Do not switch to Talk Talk. Just don't do it. The wifi is rubbish and very intermittent; the customer service is in India or somewhere- I was on phone for 1.5 hours before giving up- mostly on hold. Our experience has been absolutely awful. We had someone turn up to our property to install broadband to find out that the fibre cables are not installed in the building (surely they should check this before committing to a go live date?) we then got told that this would be sorted by the following day.. 2 weeks have nearly passed and we still have no internet and have just been told they cannot install until 23/08. I totally agree with you, this morning I called them to complain, AGAIN, and she tried to offer me a better deal if I committed to another contract!!!
NO DAMN WAY!!
Same thing happens with me, watching something and it cuts off,
It really is the worst company I have been with,
