Parque Cattleya

Although we were robbed and disappointed by the staff at the Parque Cattleya in Playa de las Americas, we still had an enjoyable holiday. Listen to the reps about the walkway next to the hotel, and always walk around or get a taxi. I would recommend paying for the week of events as you definitely get your moneys worth and more in alcohol.

Tenerife!! Reefy '05! What a holiday!! The maddest week I've ever had in one go!! Both the Cattleya (Club18-30) and Piramides (ClubFreestyle) are joined together to give the biggest party in the resort!! WARNING: families/couples not wishing to be disturbed at 4, 5, 6 oclock in the morning do NOT stay at either of these apartments during May-October. As you know Tenerife is an all year round resort and will be busy with the youth of the market throughout, but avoid it the best you can during peak months as you won't get 1 hours sleep. Just some advice anyway, because I remember how loud we were coming in at 6 n 7 in the morning. The pools are over-run with clubbers and language... a lot to be desired!!

But for all us, young wild and free party goers!! Get yourself booked up, with a case loaded with spending money and plenty of outfits!! There is bar after bar and bar- all ya usual restuarants (McDs, KFC etc...), loads of Chineses with bargain €5 all u can eat buffet (gorgeous), and your ye old traditional eateries.

Be prepared to spend spend spend- Tenerife isn't cheap. A night out will cost you the same as home, so that's a lot a cash. My advice IS to buy the Club 18-30 package- down all ya free bars, free bars, free bars!! And get mashed for free basically, it's well worth it. I wouldn't necessarily buy the package if I was visiting one of the Greek islands as everything is so cheap out there, but the Canaries...!!! Nooorr way. You need to take lots of cash if ya really want to experience it all properly. We took £500 for a week and it only just did us. And we didn't even go and DO ANYTHING in the day. Just some advice anyway.

Well, apartments are fab, massive and clean. The staff are friendly, the reception is completely secure and you can leave ur key with them when you go out coz its 24hr.

Deffo a place to go if your loaded, and want a fab time in fab weather.
