I got the Babyliss 2330U Curl Press hair curlers for my birthday at the beginning of this year, as I wanted to try other curlers besides my Andrew Collinge ones. I wanted a more volumized look. I used the Babyliss curlers for the first time on my birthday for a night out. Mistake! Instead of volumized defined curls, it left my hair really frizzy, and the curls looked like a messy bush. So that wasn't good at all, especially on my birthday and as I was going out. I use curling tongs like this all the time, so I am very familiar with how to use them, but the Babyliss ones just didn't work for me at all. It took quite a while to curl the whole of my hair, as you can only curl tiny sections, and it is quite small. The tongs are ideal if you want full-on Afro looking curls for an extreme curly look, but for those who want soft waves or soft looking spirals, then don't bother wasting your money.

A few weeks ago my sister asked me to curl her hair, which is quite long and very thick. Using the instructions that came with the Babyliss 2330 Curl press curling tongs, I started with the underneath of her hair working my way up. It took me a total of 4 hours in all to complete her hair. The end results were satisfactory, except that her hair had a square look from the roots.
