Remington S8200 Wet to Straight Wide Hair Straightener

I've had these for about two years, and they're still working perfectly. Many of my friends have GHD, but i have thick hair which just can't be tamed by them. These are theonly straighteners i've found which really do the trick. particularly if you have thick and rebellious hair: GET THESE

This hair straightner is fantastic! I have borrowed my flat mates' GHDs and yes, those are amazing, but they brak far too often. The GHDs gave the same shine and straight results as my Remington ones which i have had for SEVEN years!!! I have dropped my straightners numerous times, and left them on all day some times, yet after 7 years they are still working fine. Perhaps not at it's best anymore, I don't straighten my hair from wet these days. But from dry it's ok :) The only issue I would have with these is that compared to slimmer ones on the market today, they are a tad heavy. Definitely recommend these to my friends. Best straightners I have tried :)

Worked very well until cable swivel broke. That shorted and flashed. That part is very poorly designed. Pity to have to replace the straighteners for the sake of the cable. They weren't cheap!

My straightener works really well. I've had it for about two years and dropped it many of times, and it still hasn't broke. It straightens hair fast unlike some straighteners you have to sit there and straighten it for hours just to get it straight, but not this one it gets it done and fast. It only takes a little bit longer to straiten your hair if it is wet. Over all I love my straightener it gets the job done when im in a hurry to go to school or something with the family or just to go hang out with friends. It keeps my hair straight all day! even if it gets a little wet! ☺ I would recommend everyone a remmington wet to straight straightener......... not very expensive. They run between $30.00-99.00 ☺

My remington broke after 6 months - it was still under guarantee so I took it back and the remington agents refused to fix it claiming that I had cut my cord AND dropped it. I had done NEITHER! It worked really well in those 1st 6 months and I was really satisfied.

My Remington S8200 Wet to Straight Wide Hair Straightener has lasted for about 2 years and heats up quickly but a fuse has recently come loose which is a bit dangerous and i never even move it that much

it is not good if you want to straighten your hair when wet even though that's the whole point of it and you have to go over your hair a few times to make sure its straight

It works well as a dry straightener. It does not straighten my wet hair, I think hair would have to be very thin, nearly dry, and almost straight to begin with. I have thick, slightly wavy (not even curly) hair, and it does nothing on my hair when wet.

I find this straightener brilliant, I've had it 3 years.
