The Matrix Trilogy

The matrix trilogy is the ultimate story and in the science fiction genre that's quite rare beacause though the action sequences are state of the art till date, the story is compelling too. Thank you Watchowski Brothers hope you get your act together again and soon beacuse Ninja Assasin was one of the worst movies I have ever seen

These films re-wrote the idea of "cool" in modern cinema. The concept is quite simple (our known world is a computer generated fabrication, the real world is a grim and desolated one where humans are either harvested or destroyed by robotic sentinals). What lifts these films above standard sci-fi fare is the idea that the surviving humans can "plug-in" to the computer generated world and do super human things. This gives way to a trilogy full of action, amazing special effects and some of the coolest characters seen in modern films.

Obviously I have only given a basic outline of the films premise, to give away too much would take away the films first viewing impact. Give this trilogy a go and expect to see something refreshingly original.
