A satisfied customer of ehostpros.com. Now a days their customer support ROCKS and recently they updated their servers and I never found a downtime recently. Their resolution time is superb. I really enjoy hosting with ehostpros.com Recently I faced some mail issues, but they resolved in Live chat (Really Good) itself. Thank you EHOSTPROS.COM.

I started with ehostpros about 4 or 5 years ago because they were cheap. Things were so-so, I would have rated them overall back then about a 7 or 8. The cheapness go to me so I opened up two more accounts. I now have the 3 accounts. I host about 10 different websites on the 3 accounts, selling and informational sites, for profit and for non profit organizations. All NEED not to have problems. We don't take the time to have a web presence just because we're bored. Anyway, in the last year things have become poor in my opinion, in fact I think out of control. One of my accounts goes down weekly as far as I am concerned, the other once or twice a month. The 3rd account goes down once every few months. The occurrence of my accounts (and emails) going down is becoming more frequent, and lasting longer each time. They as far as I am aware have not yet responded to my support tickets for days (the tout a 15 minute response time, yea sure). And they almost always respond the same way; we don't see any problems, please check your account now. Once, and only once, they admitted they had a problem with a customer sucking the juice from the server I was on, I asked them to move my account. They did, but when they did the messed up my billing in my opinion. Now I have to battle with them because my billing is wrong. NOT WORTH THE PROBLEMS CREATED. I just signed up to StartLogic.com tonight because not only are my 3 ehostpros accounts down, but the entire ehostpros website is gone, "page can't be displayed" for most of the day and night. Going to try StartLogic at about $7 per month, hoping for the best.

I'm a long time customer. I've had lots of problems with eHostPros. But overall I still actually think they're okay. Their customer service is terse, but responsive. Their prices are good. Their servers seem to be fast. The problem I'm having with them now is their mail server has been put on a blacklist that one of my clients uses, so now I cannot email that client. But eHostPros is trying to help, so I give them credit for that.

They are definitely not perfect. But maybe all affordable web hosts suck a little, and you just have to be prepared to deal with the suckiness without getting too emotional.

Do not recommend E Host Pros! I have five sites hosted with them and they locked me out of all of them because of a dispute with one. I paid them and they kept telling me I didn't, even after I sent them a copy of the receipt as far as I am concerned! I put a lot of time and effort building domain name recognition and now because of them I've lost the names in my opinion simply because they will not allow me to transfer the as far as I am aware I'm locked out completely? I do not recommend ehostpros.com

“Where should I begin? My sites have been down for more...”

Where should I begin? My sites have been down for more than 48 hours at a time as far as I am aware. No one in technical support apparently knows how to fix most of the server problems so they have to contact a third party for repairs. (This has happened more than once.) I feel I've had problems with e-mails being blocked, folders being locked etc... and, while tech. support generally fixed all of those problems within 24 hours, the issues would almost always resurface less than a month later for me?

I've been a customer for over eight years now. The experience used to be wonderful but for the past two years I have had nothing but problems as far as I am concerned. I do not recommend E Host Pros

Do not recommend E Host Pros as in my opinion they are not worth the money that I pay. Everything is OK, from the start, then it seemed to deteriorate for me after 2 days!

Great deal for the price -- and lots of options too. C-panel and Fantastico are easy tools to manage applications and data. Response time has varied, but in general, the representatives reply quickly - use the online feature - very handy!

I've had 5-6 web-sites on average for last 3-4 years with this company, and I'm very very satisfied.

In my opinion, useless switch away check labbb.org. I hosted with them for 3 years and they seemed to rebuild mail data files at high priority and downtime was ridiculous. I told them if they are going to make changes like (PHP SUID) that they should notify the clients. The server I was a like a 1.8ghz celeron with 512MB of ram so as far as I am awawre my traffic spike killed the server. I've tried to cancel and so far its been 4 months and no refund. I switched to hostgator and its been good so not to mention the server is a quad processor 4GB ram so even if there are lots of clients at least it can handle some traffic spiking. You can have a good experience like I did for a while.

They moved my web site to a different server without even notifying me. In the process they did not add my paid for Static IP address. Then it took EhostPros a week to get a static IP address on my site. My site was down for a week!! Do you know how much money that cost me?

EhostPros moved my web site without notifying me. Then they forgot to put my static IP Address I pay them for on the new server. After I notified them of the mistake, they took a week to put one on the Support people stated they had to order one. I already had an IP address. What happened to that one??? I work for a major ISP. I know how IP addresses work; they did not have to order one. All they had to do was to put a secondary IP address on that server and have apache point it to the domain. I do not know if you work for them or are getting great service. But if you want anything but the standard package this company is not for you.

I've been with ehostpros for over 4 years and this last year has been disgusting. The last few months were a bad experience for me. Not only do my 3 accounts go down regularly, and they are all on different servers, but the entire ehostpros site has been down all day today 5/31/08 and still now as far as I am concerned. This has happened many times before, several times per year ehostpros entire website goes down in my opinion and takes thousands of sites down with them when they go as far as I am aware.

Excellent company, excellet customer support. I've just upgraded after a couple of years to EhostPros reseller plan, which is a good price. The support and commuication has been good.

The ability to host other websites with individual FTP accounts have been great, so also have the sql databases etc. SQL databases are unlimited on reseller accounts.

EhostPros (www.ehostpros.com) is one of the worst hosting companies I have ever come across. Their lack of support, ability to configure their servers, and the fact I cancelled my account two months ago and have not received a refund, has led me to this conclusion.

I hadn't purchased a hosting account since 1999, and due to the new technologies that have emerged I was a bit clueless on what hosting company and services I should seek. I found EhostPros using a search engine, and the page seemed great for someone who was in my position. I ordered an account and it was setup in around 48 hours and went from there.

At first I was tweaking my coding skills and didn't use any advanced functions like mySQL, PHP or CGI, but when it came time to implement such features and use them, I was at a loss due to restrictions placed on the accounts. I soon found out that most of the configuration settings, except a few you can use via the CPANEL must be set by a service professional. So I contacted them using their online chat service to request the features be implemented.

The person who answered the chat referred me to their [email protected] email address. I received an automatic response and then had to wait a few days for them to respond, telling me they need to contact their administrator to setup such things. I waited and they were eventually setup.

When these features were setup they used really old versions of the programs so my newer scripts wouldn't work. I had purchased vbulletin and then contacted them using the online support. Again I was referred to the email address, and then again told that I had to wait for the administrator to fix the problems.

Once I had vbulletin up and running I would experience server side problems almost twice a month, resulting in down time due to someone on their side messing up the configuration. During this time I never received a solution using their online chat, was always forwarded to the email account, and half of the time had to wait days for their administrator to fix these issues.

During the entire duration of my web page being online they had to reset the entire account four times, and each time leaving me to reset file permissions, and reconfigure a countless number of other configuration settings that were wiped out. This only added to the downtime of my network of web pages.

Needless to say I got tired of the lack of professional support and sought out another host. When I found one, I cancelled my account with Ehostpros and was told I would receive a refund for my unused months within 24-48 hours. After this time passed I questioned them about it and was told that their page stated it would take up to a maximum of 14 days.

After 14 days passed I asked where my payment was and they said it takes 14 business days. This is not what their refund page said, but to my surprise a few hours later it was changed. At this point in time I found this a bit odd, but decided to wait the four more days for the refund.

Once this time frame had passed I asked again where my money was. I was given the run around and have been getting the same old excuses for over two months now. It is now nearing Christmas time, and due to my disability status I cannot work and was planning to use the refunded money to buy what little I could for my family.

I have now sought out the help of free legal counsel, and I am hoping the bank's who's debit card I used can get the money back for me sometime before Christmas.

If you're shopping around for a hosting company I would stay away from Ehostpros, as unlike their name they are one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with, and their lack of refunding my account clearly shows they do not give a damn.

For reference, their administrators email is [email protected]. They do not give any contact information other then a P.O. BOX address and a fax number.
