Burberry Brit Red

Brit Red is a limited edition holiday fragrance from Burberry and it shows. Instead of summer's playful fruity-floral we have a playful winter fruity-foody. From a short visit with some very pretty rhubarb to straight gingerbread and vanilla. It's very warm, cozy (I'd love to have a candle that smells like this constantly burning at my place) inviting--as most Burberry scents tend to be, and would make a lovely scent for this time of year--winter/the holidays. I wouldn't recommend it for New Year's Eve, though, unless you're spending it with hubby and the kids. Not a wild time fragrance. I've tried it three times at the fragrance counter and though it does smell wonderful, I have decided that for me it isn't something I need to own. However, if you like foody scents but find that most are too sweet then you should most definitely give this one a try.
