“Hard to cancel order”

Very hard to cancel orders, and my emails to try to contact them went ignored. As a result i ended up with a game i no longer needed, due to their slow dispatch times. I've added their site to my internet browser's blacklist, so i don't even accidently land on their site when looking for the cheapest price for any game i'm interested in. I'm determined never to shop with them again.

“Avoid, avoid, avoid”

Attracted by the cheap price I made the mistake of ordering Horizon Zero Dawn from Gameseek, Despite receiving notification that it had been dispatched the game never arrived. I spent a month live chatting with their so-called customer service advisors and exchanging emails with the marketplace manager. They showed no interest in resolving the issue. Thankfully I paid for the game through Amazon Payments so was able to get a refund through them. Gameseek were so awful   Avoid like the plague and buy your games through a reputable organisation.

“2 years later, no game no money”

I ordered a game on October 6 2015, it is now just over two years later and I still haven't received my game or gotten my money back, nor have I received any answer on my two latest emails from early December 2015 stating I want my money back. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!

So put my order in for my little girls present, got a depatch email asap tonight got an email around 1800 stating item was delivered at 1510 and if not in item would be left with a neighbour and card through the door, no card through door no item where the heck is it??????

“Kids play set ”

Ordered a play table for my son on the 26/7/2017 its the 10/8/2017 it has not come i called only to get a screeching noice down the phone n cut off ... Tried to fill in form but it wont let me .. They say there the best mmmmm ... It was only 16 quid but not the ponit

“Awful Experience AVOID!!!!!”

Pre-ordered a game a month in advance along with 3 other people come release day no item. It's now 6 days later & all 3 of us are still waiting. They blame royal mail but used 3-5 day economy service from Wednesday it's now 6 days since & tomorrow a full week. No other company fails to get a game to you kn release day ever. Tried ringing, emailing, tweeting & messaging but responses are few & far between you either get ignored or fobbed off. Worst game company I have Done business with. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

“Awful Customer Service”

I purchased a relitively expensive purchase (childs bike £89) where i recieved confirmation of purchase instantly, i then waited some 7 days before thinking that most viable online companies would have informed me of any delay or indeed updated me of the progress. When emailed they simply said their has been some warehouses issues and you should recieve the purchase shortly. Another 4 days went by and has it drew to the eve of my daughters birthday i contacted them again, they replied with one line....the order is on its way via hermes. 2 days later the purchase arrived and i sat to write a follow up email of my experience with gameseek, strongly outlining the grieve this purchase had caused (19 days from order to delivery) and as you can have guessed i have recieved no reply from gameseek DO NOT USE, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

“WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!”

So a few Christmases back I ordered a toy from this site as it was the cheapest I'd seen anywhere, including shipping so I ordered it, it came, no hiccups or need to contact customer service. So recently when this came up again on the shopping compare websites as the cheapest I was like brilliant and ordered the toy. About a week later, I realised that I had no email of a confirmation of purchase or anything and I check on the site against my email, and historic purchases didnt register anything. I was literally about to buy it again when I realised I had paid with Paypal so I checked on my account and the transaction HAD gone through with them. So I contact Gameseek to ask if there was a glitch, had it registered with them? 48hrs, nothing. So I email again. 48hrs nothing. And I'm like what's going on here, so I open a claim case with Paypal (order through Paypal people, guarantees your money back) and they finally give me a rude response 'shipped it, its coming' with no tracking details, no apology no date it was shipped. So that gave me NO confidence that they weren't just conning me! It arrives today, the toy is ok, but the packaging is ripped to shreds, I am amazed the toy is ok. I know this stuff happens but the customer service was ABOMINABLE, for all I know, they did have a glitch and they shipped it when paypal contacted them. 4 weeks is not on! I would have forgiven it though had I had a bit of politeness or professionalism. Lost me as a customer!

“Non-functional software, non—responsive company.”

I bought a piece of software from these people. It rejected the serial number clearly printed on the package, and will not install. An email to the address from which the order acknowledgement “bounced”. Messages left on the website have been ingnored. (Fortuanately I paid by PayPal, my next port of call.)

“Where's My Refund”

Ordered 2 sets of paint brushes, only 1 set was delivered as the item was out of stock. I was offered an immediate refund, this was over a month ago. I have repeatedly contacted them via telephone and email and all I get is the same stock response of "I've passed your request to our finance department and they are dealing with it with immediate effect" Wish I'd checked out other people's reviews before I ordered, rubbish in every way, avoid at all costs!!

“Poor product delivery and customer service”

Placed pre-order for Wii U Zelda Breath of the Wild and paid extra for release day delivery. Received email after 5.30pm day before release date (so I could not talk to them to complain that day obviously), blaming Nintendo for not making enough copies (total lie as all High Street stores had stock the following day) . I easily managed to get a copy off the shelf the next day. Took two days to reply to complaint email and cancellation and refund I made. Got an email on late Saturday stating it was being delivered, and received item Monday pm! (having paid extra postage for prompt delivery!). To get refund I had to return at my own cost, enclosing bank details (very dodgy practice). This company takes your pre-orders and money for stock they are not assured delivery of. Avoid and shop elsewhere.

“Never received andvrefused refund”

I purchased a Christmas gift on 6th December. When it hadn't arrived by the 23rd December I contacted them and was told it hadn't yet been dispatched. They offered to cancel the order and I agreed. However no refund was provided and when I followed up on the 6th January they said they had dispatched on the 4th January so I couldn't be refunded. I objected and requested the escalate. After some backwards and forwards emails they finally provided a manager email. I contacted him on 6th February and received no reply. It is now 25th February, I have still not received my purchase, have been provided no proof of postage and have not been provided a refund. Disgraceful so called "service".

“Did not receive item”

Many requests for tracking number but no response. Complained via PayPal and then gameseek provided a number well after it was supposedly delivered. Contacted courier but they only referred me back to gameseek. PayPal review was in favour of gameseek because they gave a tracking number. Disregarded that it was given after delivery date. Did not get a failed delivery notice to check local despatch. Lost my money and no item. Not happy at all with gameseek.

“My item never arrived!”

3 days after the agreed delivery date I tried to contact them by phone and email and the never responded. My item never arrived although I had paid for it. I went on to read other reviews and was shocked at how many others were in the same boat. Awful company and I would definitely not recommend them, only for paying through PayPal did I get my money back

“GameSeek refuse to honour free returns for a faulty toy”

I purchased a Bakugan toy for my son which turned out to be broken once unpackaged. Gameseek ignored me when I complained and I had to raise a Paypal dispute, they continued to ignore me. Paypal have now instructed me to return at my own expense. So much for Gameseek complying by distance selling regulations, they should pay the cost of return. BEWARE.

“AWFUL RIP YOU OFF!”

I ordered two furreal pets for my daughters for chrstmas. The first arrived but the second never came. I emailed them repeatedly and they just ignored. When i ordered online i was under the impression that they were a google verified shop which i learnt after ordering had been revoked! I requested a refund through paypal where they replied that i was the DISHONEST one and that both items had been delivered. Yes one had been delivered im not denying that but the other never came and they felt that providing the link to the courier would prove it had. No signature was ever requested and there was no proof it had been delivered to me, this would be because the second one hadn't!Paypal granted me a refund but Gameseek only said a full one so i would need to return the other furreal pet. How could i possibly do this when it had been given to my daughter from Santa!!! I have refused and am waiting to hear again as Paypal have recontacted them for me. When you read the reviews online this kind of behaviour is a common occurrence unfortunately i didn't read these until after i'd ordered. Maybe i'm a bit naive but i really didn't think companies could get away with being this dishonest in this day and age! Its obviously how they make their money by taking off their customers! So if you're considering them please for your own sanity DON'T this doesn't appear to be a one off event and their customer service skills are non existent in fact they are like a child having a tantrum because they got caught out and are being questioned, so they fling insults around. I think the reviews they have on their website they must have written themselves as i cannot find any positive ones anywhere else. Yes they do offer low prices but this is because they generally don't provide the goods but keep your money! I hope this review helps prevent someone else having to deal with the god awful company known as Gameseek!

Unfortunately I purchased an item via gameseek with out reading the many bad reviews. Lesson learn't now! They have wasted enough of my time already so I can't be bothered to go into pages of full detail, but lets just say if there is a problem with your order you will not be able to contact them via phone and you will not get any assistance via email. I was very patient, but in the end I had to go through a paypay claim to get my money back. I am very reasonable person and would not be writing this review if Gameseek made any effort to resolve, but this company is really terrible. Please avoid for your own sake!

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Ordered 2 weeks ago for an item which is apparently in stock. Got shipping notification a week ago and still nothing (Express delivery by courier) No response to mails and phone just rings endlessly...

Totally Agree

I purchased a Risk Board Game along with others through Tesco Direct - it never arrived. From the same order another supplier shipped games the next day but GameSeek took 5 days to ship the game which was supposed to be in stock. Tried ringing them several times but both I and Tesco customer services found that they don't answer the phone or their emails. Unfortunately these games were Christmas Presents for two brothers with one not receiving his until the new year when I reordered from another supplier. Lesson don't purchase anything from this supplier you may never get it,
