“Consistently Good Value”

★★★★☆

written by Dumbrill on 05/02/2020

Good service that tends to be email and telephone based. Always helpful and responsive. I'd recommend them and use them again. Their website isn't as slick as others, but generally they're generally better value than their competitors Having leased three cars, two with Freedom, I would say that the time from getting a quote to receiving the car is always longer than you expect, even with a stock vehicle. This isn't a Freedom issue, but there are always delays and glitches along the way with specs, paperwork, signatures and dealers.

“A GREAT RESULT”

★★★★☆

written by markh900 on 01/02/2017

Very happy with the recent transaction and wife is looking forward to her new Mercedes A class. After a little pushing and probing I managed to get a satisfactory offer which we agreed quickly on. There was no slowness from the sales team at Freedom it was just that (as it was later explained to me) a lack of offers from the manufacturers because it was a new quarter. Every other detail was smoothly dealt with and sorted quickly to allow delivery to take place (for a stock car) within a couple of weeks.

“Cars you want to drive at affordable prices”

★★★★☆

written by Shyanne135 on 05/12/2016

Easier to contact by phone as email responses are a bit hit and miss. Definitely good value as deposits are up to £3k cheaper than going to a dealership. 2nd time I've leased a car through Freedom Contracts. Be prepared to drive the delivery driver to the nearest train station so he can return to base.

We have now ordered 5 vehicles from Freedom, over the past 2 years, for company use and have found the process very smooth and without any hassles. Good selection of vehicles and staff will help to accommodate delivery dates we require.Suits us very well and will continue to use them.

“Great Service, would use again”

★★★★☆

written by AnnabellaGarcia246 on 20/02/2016

This was my 1st time leasing a vehicle, so I was a bit apprehensive. Freedom Contracts made the whole experience painless, they kept me up to date with progress at all times and answered any questions I had. I will definitely be considering them again for any future leasing. They were also the most competitive on price for the vehicle I required. Great all round experience and customer service.

“Good service but time to lose the admin fee?”

★★★★☆

written by McGuire21 on 25/06/2015

We've had two cars out of freedom in the past and whilst their service is generally good, friendly and efficient I have two 'gripes' which means I have just ordered my new car through someone else. The first one is more my fault then theirs but worth noting for anyone thinking about ordering through them is that prices change very quickly. I guess this is more likely the lender then them but if you want the car, order it. Twice I mulled over a car for a day or two and when I came to order, both times the price had gone up to that point that I didnt bother ordering either. The second one is the document / admin fee. £299 + vat. When I was new to leasing I paid it but given that your agreement is with the finance company and not Freedom who are just the broker and get their kick back from the lender as well, this time round I wasn't willing to pay it. You don't have to look hard as there are plenty of lease companies with the exact same deal (I've been looking at BMW and Mercedes) who charge nothing! I'd order from them again if they dropped the admin fee but this time I've opted to put my money with a local lease company who got me the same deal but saved me £349 by not having a processing fee!

Dear Mr McGuire,

Thank you for your review and thank you for appreciating that our industry is very fast moving. As quickly as we receive an offer and are allocated vehicles they are sold, we then have to change our offers to either a higher spec’d vehicle or an alternative dealer who may not have quite as much support available as the initial dealer did.

As you rightly advised, we are the broker and not the lender, we do not earn any commission, VRB or receive a bonus from either the dealer or the funder, we merely earn a processing fee. This is to ensure that all costs you incur over the set period are outlined and detailed at the very beginning. All our advertising methods stipulate how much processing fee is applicable to each deal, giving you the option to choose whether to make any further enquiries about the deal. It’s a common held misconception that all brokers earn commission via several different avenues, I can assure you that we at Freedom Vehicle Contract’s do not, and we charge one transparent fee, Meaning the rental you pay has no profit within for Freedom Vehicle Contracts.

I can only presume that the reason you were able to obtain a deal with no processing fee and still manage to secure the same rate as we were offering is the company used were trying to cultivate a new local customer in the hope that future business may result in commission earned.

We hope you enjoy your new vehicle and if you wish to discuss the above any further please do not hesitate to contact us.

“Overall the contact hire rate was extremely...”

★★★★★

written by barry chung on 09/04/2008

Overall the contact hire rate was extremely competitive and I have been pleasantly surprised how easy it is to contract hire a car. The total process from proposal to delivery has been no more than 3 weeks. Just to reiterate the point about inclusion. I believe it is incumbent upon the seller to describe the item being contracted. Road tax, fuel on delivery should all be set out at the beginning. I feel this has been a great experience, keep it up.

“Freedom Vehicle Contracts arranged my contract hire...”

★★★★★

written by Gaynor on 01/12/2005

Freedom Vehicle Contracts arranged my contract hire quickly and efficiently. Freedoms leasing prices appear to be very competitive and I personally found the staff very helpful and friendly. The car arrived as arranged but with a minor scratch to the stereo face, I contacted Freedom who helped sort out the problem and the stereo was replaced.
