Simply Awesome For The Money

I paid £150 7 years ago! The sound quality and bass on this surround system is really good I use it with fibre-optic to my pc that has Dolby Digital 5.1 on RealTek chip and have been blasting music out of this thing for the last 7 years. It rivals the fortune a friend spent on a separate amp and speaker system. The only niggle I have now is the bearing in the fan has gone so it makes a slight noise but doesn't bother me as when its on its playing music and cant be heard over 500watts! :)

Samsung Htup30 Is A Nice Quality Dvd Player, But I

Samsung HTUP30 is a nice quality DVD player, but if you're in all details, keep searching...

-Nice image

-Incredible sound but -lousy remote

-not multizone

-usb port only for mp3, does not support video

-cant remove certain displays from screen (ie: when using zoom, shows 2x at all times in screen)

I Bought The Samsung Htop30 Dvd Player For £

I bought the Samsung HTOP30 DVD player for £180, and it is worth every penny and more. I got it as an upgrade from a Toshiba SD-43HK. The speakers look really cool. The DVD unit is really nice and modern. The centre speaker is nice and long. The sound is astronomical. It's brilliant for playing music, but best for movies. It has got a USB port so you can plug your MP3 into it, and listen to it through the DVD player, and it displays all the songs on the TV. It also has a nice bassy sub-woofer. There are loads of different equalizers, and it is very loud on full volume. The volume level goes up to 45, but 15 or 20 is adequate enough for movies.
