Road Rash is the first video game I ever played and I have wanted to play it again for a long time. Its fun because you can club people of bikes and the crashes are crazy. Lots of levels and lots of hidden bikes too.
Any gamer's that have not tried this game should try it soon because it is the Best! Nuff Said.

Road Rash 2 is a truly entertaining game, I've loved it since I was a kid and I still love it now. Great buy. Great gameplay, multiple weapons for multiple ways for mass carnage (If mass carnage is beating other motorcycle riders with chains is mass carnage).

Oh Dear. What Happened Here Then, Ea?
Oh dear. What happened here then, EA?
The Road Rash name was once synonymous with fast paced, arcade bike racing with a good helping of attitude thrown in. The Mega Drive (Genesis) versions rocked; the 3DO version was amazing and even the later Saturn and PSX versions were semi decent...but this?!
By coupling the legendary premise (basically to have illegal biker races across the US and throw in a bit of crowbar based combat) with the N64, this should have been storming, but instead turned out to be a graphically pathetic, vacuum of a game. Sure, it moves along at a fair old rate and is smooth enough...BUT LOOK AT IT!!!
Now, I'm an advocate of the old adage 'graphics don't make a game,' but somehow EA, THQ or whoever will own up to creating this monster, have constructed a game with visuals so poor you could be forgiven for thinking you were playing the Etch-a-Sketch version.
But even if you look past the (amazingly bad) graphics, what have you got? A boring snore-athon of a game where it takes little more than holding done the Z trigger (yes, the Z trigger is the accelerator!!!) and nudging the stick left and right to win every race. You don't even have to bother yourself with the combat aspect of the game if you don't want to - just buzz past the pack and go for the win. You get cash when you win and this can be used to upgrade your bike, but why you'd want to bother getting that far into it is beyond me.
I just cant believe that the folks in the board room at EA, the world's biggest and most powerful publisher, sat down and saw this and thought "Hmm, you know - this is pretty good!."
Do yourself and everyone associated with you a big favour and do not waste your money and time on this pile of excrement. Actually, scrap that last comment - DO buy it, so you can witness for yourself the TRUE HORROR!!!!
