I Originally Bought The Nokia 7380 Mobile Phone Be

I originally bought the Nokia 7380 mobile phone because I wanted something really small and light, and the phone meets those requirements. I knew it didn't have a conventional keypad, but that's not really a problem because I always dial contacts and don't often need to type in a number.

The major frustration though is when I call my own voice mail, "press 2 to do.." messages are a nightmare. It takes ages to enter the digits through the job wheel, and you can't listen and type at the same time.

Also, a couple of other problems I encountered were the lack of email functionality. Even simple cheap phones seem to be able to manage that. Java functionality seems pretty limited too, and I can't find any games for it anywhere.

The Orange web site states a battery talk time of 3 hours and standby of 11 days - That's complete rubbish! It doesn't even last a full weekend with minimal use.

I Got A Nokia 7380 Last Week Because The 7370 Was

I got a Nokia 7380 last week because the 7370 was only available on orange and I was assured that this one was 10 times better. There is no keypad and you text etc by using a spinning dial. I thought I would get quicker at it as I can text really fast on a normal phone but it's just so frustrating and takes so long that I've given up! Im taking it back to the shop tomorrow and getting the 6111. Its a good phone if your a gadget fan and the picture quality is great. However the bad point outweigh the good points...the screen is ridiculously small, the battery dies frequently, not being able to simply key in a number makes you want to throw it at a wall etc its not worth the hassle i'd rather have an ugly but simple phone!
