Upon opening the bottle, I noticed a slight aroma of licorice. But after the first sip, the taste was much stronger. I poured the 200ml bottle of large cup of ice and took a seat. I noticed that the colder the drink got, the smoother it and more delicious it became to drink. Only minutes later, I was woozy and high. The feeling was what I wanted but I woke up in bed with no clothes on and I didn't remember undressing nor could I remember resining from my post in the kitchen. The craziest thing was, I woke up from the most unusual dream. The kind that scares you. And I day, I've been having these lucid visions. Just strange things. (spiders, or other things crawling on me) I'm not drinking this again.

It has a really nic esmooth herby taste, jager with an energy drink is a great way to start a party, would definitly recommend it. I had my first when i was at a club with my mates easy way to get drunk without none of the regret. Wouldnt drink it all the time but on occasion definitly.

An essential liqueur, Jagermeister has a unique herbal flavour (easily acquired in my case) and deserves better than to be only associated with Jagerbombs which, in my opinion are a particularly vile way of ruining a perfectly good drink. However, if they eventually lead to more people trying Jager neat, I suppose that's a good thing.
Drink neat Jager cold from the fridge - it's fabulous. Also a great emergency remedy for a hangover or upset stomach (in small doses, of course - and please drink responsibly!).

very nice shot easy to go down and a great thing to drink if tired because of the energry drink with it taste like black liqurish easy to get drunk on and also cheap

I would ONLY recommend this with Red Bull or Monster Energy drink as a shot. I love a jager bomb, but too many....just as any liquor will make you regret it. Otherwise the best shot EVER! Enjoy, but with since enough not to drink it all nigh!! Enjoy...don't indulge

This is the best shot that there is!! I mostly do it as a Jaeger Bomb with Red Bull but I also like it on its own or just mixed with a bit of Red Bull!! Love it Love it Love it haha :). It can be a bit pricey sometimes but its worth the money!

I thought the drink was averagely priced and it was yummy with a good fruit liqueur flavour, the colour wasn't very interesting but its a fantastic party drink and im defiantly going to buy it again the best think is a Jager bomb.

Jagar is a good drink and goes well with red bull, but also with monster khaos. Although becarful mixing downers and uppers. It confuses the heart lol.
Anyway, cough syrup to me is a poor description to for what it tastes like. To me it is better compared to black liquorice.
Overall its a good drink, always server cold, this drink can get kinda interesting warm.

Jegermeister is one of those drinks you have to try. Its mostly based on different herbs so it has really distinct flavour you can not mistake for any other drinks. It has originnaly was destiled as a digestive medicine but as time passed it became well known an favoured liqueur.
I like J for its taste and 'voltage' and it is always good excuse for a shot to improve your digestion. You have to try it.

I was first introduced to Jagermeister by my big brother who had come back from Germany. I had a sip and wow, gorgeous. I thought to me self I'm saving this, it's worth keeping and it has kept me ever so happy all the drunken nights, and I spent all my time saying/thinking I hate Germany but now I love it. Good stuff, best thing the Germans ever did in my opinion.

I have never had any hard drinks in my life except for a gl;ass wine may be once in a year for an occasion. I had a shot of Jagermeister the other evening and now at the age of 50 I realized I found my drink. It is the best. I love it.

I love Jagermeister... simple. It's great as a winter drink and great to mix as a summer drink

I was introduced to this a few years a go and haven't looked back since. I love this drink, I see some people are saying that its not to be mixed with other than maybe with red bull (also known as a Jager Bomb) but I have found that coke is the best way to have it and have been enjoying it this way for a while now. A few glasses of this and the night is fully set in motion.
I will however be trying it as suggested as a digestif and see if that helps, many thanks

I was first introduced to this in Austria back in 2004 on a skiing trip where miniature bottles were the norm. Either unscrewing the cap, placing the bottle in your teeth and knocking your head back, or alternatively an open bottle resting inside a glass of RB/Energy drink so it mixes as you drink it.
A lot of people complain it tastes like cough medicine & Jager is definately an acquired taste which should only be served ice cold straight from the freezer or with lots of ice. The only mixer to compliment it has to be the energy type drinks. I'm glad it's finally becoming more readily available in some supermarkets. I first discovered it on the shelf of one supermarket almost 2 years ago and have been going back there for regular supplies ever since!

Awesome for shots and bombs. Not really a lot of good mixed drinks with it. At least not that I've had. Perfect party liquor.

Jagermeister is awesome! The effect is inspiring, even more so when mixed with redbull or some other type of energy drink. Jagermeister is great by itself as well. There is nothing more invigorating and/or sublime than an ice cold shot of fresh Jagermeister. I will not drink any other type of hard liqueur. The best stuff ever made!

Jagermeister is, essentially, a digestif. This means if you've had a good meal, a shot of Jagermeister will help you digest your food better. Simple really. The reviewers above who prattle on about drinking it all night for kicks should probably go out and buy a bottle of Bells or something.
Drinking Jagermeister to get drunk/entertain oneself is a bit like using a trout to brush your hair. IT'S NOT AN ALCOPOP!!! But as a digestif, Jagermeister is about the best there is.
Sorry for ranting, but someone had to set the record straight.

Jagermeister is a highly sweet 70 proof German liquor supposedly containing minute quantities of deer blood. It is a reddish-brown cordial with a root beer-like flavor, and it is served extremely cold and syrupy. In Europe it is imbibed primarily because of it's supposed medicinal value, as an after dinner tonic. There are apparently 56 herbs incorporated into the formula, which was invented in 1935. The blazon of the deer on the label is derived from the story of St. Hubertus, a patron saint of huntsmen. After the death of Hubert's beautiful wife Floribana, he wandered the forest despondently, hunting deer. On a Christmas Eve, he received a vision of a stag with a glowing cross betwixt it's antlers. He renounced his position as Duke of Toulouse and became a priest, eventually ascending to the position of bishop before his death in 727 AD. The word Jagermeister means Huntmaster, and the text which flows around the label is a traditional hunter's prayer: It is the Hunter's honor that he protects and preserves his game, hunt sportsmanlike, honors the Creator in his creatures.

Jagermeister is extremely flavourful....Filling my throat and stomach with warmth. Never have I EVER had a dull night with Jager...It is the drink of mirth and adventure. No hangover ever. Joie de Vivre with a few shots of Jager to liven up the tales.

I found this review very helpful because...I have never thought to try this drink before yet after reading about it i am quite curious to give it a go. My friends have tried it before with Red Bull although i am not sure this is something i would enjoy. I am more conservative than them. Anyway I will let you know what I think after i try it.
