Ghazala Beach Hotel

Excellent holiday at the Ghazala Beach Hotel, great weather and for the majority, great people. Good points everyone was very friendly and wished to help you enjoy your stay. Bad points, the constant pestering from street traders.

I was really impressed with Sharm as a resort, during my stay did a couple of reconnaisence trips to other hotels to sample their surroundings, food and service. The Ghazala Beach is definitely a 3 star at a push. The hotel location is without a doubt the jewel in its crown, it really is on the beach. I will be returning to Sharm, probably March, and will be booking in at the Hilton Fayrouz next door. Tempted to try the likes of Taba etc but don't know whether I can be bothered with being bused in and out to the Bay which is where everyone descends. If you are looking for total rest, relaxation, sun and swimming and the only worry you have to take into account is when to turn over and fry your back then Sharm is the place for you. There may be no culture or sightseeing but there is a real kind of charm in Sharm!
