I have been a huge fan of Coldplay for about 10 years, probably since their single Yellow. Recently, the have change their direction totally. The X&Y album was much darker, but, tanks to the new sound esthetics, became sharper as well. It is like comparing a rubber hammer and a needle. One is big, but pretty harmless, the other is chillingly scary and stings you in the heart. Talk is definitely a piece of art by its own, being a perfect song for people who have lost their hopes in darkness. Oh, brother, I can't get through.... Come on, we all know that Coldplay has always been distinguished by the idea of keeping and shining the internal light through any bad times and this song is a perfect example of their style. Guitar riffs, clever rhymes, good aftertaste, what else would you need to download it from iTunes to your mp3-player?
