The Beehive Pub is a useful meeting place if you're going to a gig at Brixton Academy. The beer is reasonably priced, there's a cheap menu, if you're not picky about what you put in your body, full of the usual low-quality pub fare. But, at least on a busy night it's a friendly enough place. Beware the toilets though as they've put in ultra-violet lighting to stop junkies coming in off the streets and using the toilets to shoot up....lovely....
