Carol Vorderman's Touch Screen Sudoku early. Well he shouldn't have told me what he had bought for Christmas. After a few games I was quite disappointed with it!
You touch the screen with a stylus (spare stylus provided) to select the game you want, and also to turn off the sound/pause the game/check the answers etc.
There are 2 levels you can choose from with the button on the front - beginner and advanced, with over 100,000 game combinations. Then there are 4 levels to choose from.
The beginner games let you see the answers a few times more than the advanced setting. The number also flashes on the beginner games if you have put it in the wrong square.
The screen could have benefitted from being backlit as you have to play it in good light or it is hard to see. This wasn't just me - my daughter had problems with the screen too, but my husband seemed to manage. It just means I can't play it in bed when I can't sleep!
All in all I think the Sudoku books are better value for money unless you are a Sudoku nutter and will still be playing well after the fad has died out.

Carol Vorderman's Touch Screen Sudoku Is What I Ca
Carol Vorderman's Touch Screen Sudoku is what I call a Christmas present.
Great to see a celebrity endorse a decent product for once rather than put their name to any old junk. I've had a play on this game and as a Sudoku addict it gets my approval.
An excellent recreational toy that will be a hit with people of all ages.
I think I'd love one of these. What is the RRP? Is the gameplay of the Carol Vorderman's Touch Screen Sudoku game really good, or does it become boring after a while?
