Miele W2444WPS

When I ordered this washing machine from my local store I was told they are the best brand and the machine would live long enough for me to get bored of it. My mum has had hers for about 4 years and so far no problems, i've had mine about a year and no problems so far.

It cleans well, is easy to use and it quiet when in use apart from when spinning towards the end, but even then its not particulary noisy compared to other washing machines i've had! Many a time i've forgotten that it is on!

It has a quick wash setting and it measures the weight of the washing so it doesn't use excess water, the time also adjusts with the size of the load. The timer is very accurate, if it says it has one minute left it means it!

I also have the miele dishwasher and would recommend this too! Both come with 5 years guarntee and 10 years guarantee on the parts

we are on our third machine, the first broke within 3 weeks and the second went wrong after 2 months. The supplier (john lewis) replaced without much fuss however there was a long gap before replacements actually arriving.

I wouldn't recommend this brand after our experience.

The Miele W2444WPS washing machine is quiet enough, and has very low vibration. It matches my expectations, and I am pleased at how easy it is to pull the detergent/softener drawer out. I have only done it twice though for a quick wipe out!

What more can I say? It cost a lot, and I expected a lot for it, but I am happy!
