I've ordered a mobile phone from them and had a real problem in returning it after I've changed my mind. You only have 7 days in which you can return it, and I feel as though they have made it hard for me to. At the end I still ended with a bill from the service provider. Terrible experience.

I have also sent in bills and had them returned they owe me nearly £200 that im never going to see and i have an 18 month contract that i don't surpose i can get out of. its all been just one big CON. Any advice would be appreciated

I took out 3 contracts from The Mobile Outlet, i had sent all the cashback claims on time via recorded delivery but unfortunately my claims were turned down and I received letters from them with different excuses like: i did not meet the Terms and Conditions, i did not send the original dispatch not which i had initially and the claim was not sent on time. I phoned them, wrote e-mails and also spoke to Trading Standards. I have now taken the matter further to Begbies Traynor, they said i will receive a letter in this April. Im still awaiting.

When I Sent My Bill To The Mobile Outlet In Order
When i sent my bill to The Mobile Outlet in order to get my cash back they ignored me, i called them lot of time but every time same answer, we will give the cash back within a week, only one guy dealt the telephone query with different name. i spent lot of money to call them on 0870 one number. But now no answer, no money, and web site doesn't work.
But other companies also get involved ( orange, t-moblie, o2 etc) bcoz they gave them license and arrording to my knowledge they have license still. call to your net work plz and ask them as well.................................
Same Problem Here. Never Got My 1st Cashback Altho
Same problem here. Never got my 1st cashback although they received my paperwork on 2Jan 08. Called - no luck with a guy, when asked to speak to the manager he replied "Manager is in a meeting" (yeah, right), emailed - no answer. Sent in 2nd cashback claim - envelope returned yesterday. That's when discovered The Mobile Outlet does not exist anymore.
Called T Mobile despite other people's experience of not getting anything from then either. T Mobile (rightly so, can't take responsibility for someone else) but they did let me lower my price plan from Flex 35 to Flex 20. No more deals possible. So now i have 1/4 of my previous allowance, but couldn't afford any more.
Good luck to everyone else. Let's keep fighting. And never going for the cashback deals any more although done it happily for the last 4 years.
I Took A 12 Month Contract With Mobile Outlet In N
I took a 12 month contract with mobile outlet in november 2007. having read the reviews and comments on this website after realising that you can't even call or access www.mobileoutlet.co.uk, im devastated!! wish id double checked in the first place. i feel like such an idiot!!! was going to send the first cashback voucher, wanted to re-check terms and conditions for details again, the website does not exist! (i do have a Word copy somewhere) but so confused and angry, i don't no what to do. o2 is charging me 40 pounds a month, and sends you summaries not full itemised bills, not that any of this matters if we can't do anything.
im a student, please can anyone help? is there any chance of getting money back? some people have mentioned trading standards, email addresses for the administrator company and others state you should try asking your network?
has anything worked?
please help
I Can't Believe The The Mobile Outlet Have Gone Bu
I can't believe the The Mobile Outlet have gone BUST!! Does anyone one know when this happened? The Customer Service was terrible!
I Have Just Sent My First Cashback Claim Off, And
I have just sent my first cashback claim off, and thought I'd give them a ring to make sure they had recieved it, only to find no-one was answering the phones, the website does not work, and neither does the email. Thencame across this sight where my worst thoughts were realised, they have gone bust.
They Now Owe Me £420. Followed All Terms To
They now owe me £420. Followed all terms to the letter. Today had my final cash back claim returned to me in the post as undeliverable, so I take it thats the end! I cant believe this is happening and we cant do anything. We have so many laws in this country surely people cannot get away with this. If you went into a supermarket and they offered a buy one get one free and at the checkout they charged you for both you would be able to get your money back or leave the items altogether. Why is this any different. Im also now angry at T mobile who the contract was with as they will have been paying this company a commission to sell their deals. I strongly feel they should take on some responsibility as they were quick to take the business, but not any of the fall out now. Surely someone has to be made responsible for this in this day and age!
I Too Am An Unlucky Customer Who Has Tried To Get
I too am an unlucky customer who has tried to get in touch with themobileoutlet.co.uk!! When I tried to go to their website it took me into the e2save website which i noticed a previous reviewer recommended instead of TMO but buyers BEWARE as this site link might mean they are connected to TMO. When you look on the e2save website the deals look all too familiar!!!
Hi, I can understand that you would be worried about e2save now in place of The Mobile Outlet website, but this is just a business move on behalf of Carphone Warehouse who own e2save and they have no connection other than they both sell/sold mobile phones. Saying that I have never used e2save or carphone warehouse so I can not comment on their service.
