Cheap To Run Lacks Build Quality
I bought this bike at 6 years old and had it fully serviced at a Honda dealer, this made the bike run amazing and the mpg was around 105 miles on £5 petrol! However the Honda dealer had to "replace missing bolts" and "tighten" alot of others! I had them put these right at a reasonable price but, on the whole I've spent nearly £1000 on this bike over space of 10 months including gaskets, fuel line, and wear and tear, to be honest I would recommend buying a recognised name ie Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha etc. last bad point is the bikes not the fastest!!
If you are looking at buying the x-dirt I would give you one piece of advice check the bike runs well and try pricing up insurance ( I found only one insurance company would insure me and only 3rd party not fire and theft!!!!!) this meant they almost named there price as I had bought the bike prior to insuring it!!
Where did you get insured

I Got This Bike A Couple Of Months Ago From Ebay,
I got this bike a couple of months ago from ebay, it had only done 500k so it was like new! its a really good cheep bike, cos me around £700, but this was with a years MOT and tax. i know its a fairly random make but if your looking for a cheep bike to get you about i would recommend it. The only things i have found wrong with it ,and if your buying one with low miles i would recommend, are draining the oil asap, there were some iron filings in my oil, however this is fairly standard and the drain bolt is magnetic and will catch most of these. Get yourself a strong battery, and replace the bolts holding the heat shield as they tend to shake loose. great bike tho and will sit comfortably at 50-55mph and will get to about 65-70mph if you push it!
hello m8 wher do you get parts for these as i am in need of a thottel cable

I Have Just Bought Myself A X-strean Dirt Bike. I
I have just bought myself a X-strean dirt bike. I have to register it but its 2005 and i have no paper work for it. I have the Vin number and i am trying to get evidence of the year of manufacture but i dont even know who manufactured it, can anyone help or i have to put it on a Q plate and i will loose money doing this. I have bought this to get some road experince when i pass my CBT and then hopefully go onto bigger bike, therefor i dont want to be loosing cash.
Maxus or dajiang are the only two names ive found It under

I Have Had Nothing But Problems With This Bike. I
I have had nothing but problems with this bike. I have had to replace the chain, complete new brakes, new speedo and rev counter wires, new fuses all the time, constantly have to fill the tyres up with pressure, frame needs welding, back tyre does not sit properly, bolts keep falling off due to vibration. This is to name to but a few! I don't recommend anyone buy one unless they have no other choice.

This Bike Gave Me Problem After Problem, To Name A
This bike gave me problem after problem, to name a few, a new fuel tank was needed after 1 month, 2nd month a complete engine was needed, and after 6 months of the bike been stored in a locker, an electrical fault occured and the bike caught fire, all that was left with a shell, not such a bad thing in truth.
I would advise anyone looking for a cheap fun bike, don't try and save pennies, buy a make i.e Honda, Kawasaki etc.
Q&A
I just bought one for my son to do up but not sure where the battery goes for electric start and of course lights. Can anybody help? Thanks
