the hotel was fab our room was perfect the pool was great the only problem i had was the staff at the bar if your a gang off women on your own u wil get on fine if u r a couple they tend to ignore u we ate out most off the time golden fizz bar was great yusaffs was good and queens was good montana bar was ok all in all it was a fab holiday side is a beautifil place

Melissa Gardens was a great place to stay and i am about to go back

I went to Melissa Gardens, Side with my nan and parents. When we rang up to see if there was a lift and they told us there so when we arrived we were shocked to be told that there was no lift so they had to move us to the bottom floor. As soon as we got in to the room we were disgusted the beds were not nice and the curtains were all filthy. Early the next morning we went down to reception and got the to move us and far wall to them they did but they were not happy about that one little bit and to say my dad is Turkish we were really shocked.

Melissa gardens is a fantastic place to go, I would go back there again because it was amazing. There was this really great bar called The Queen. Everyone at the queen was extremely friendly and very polite. if you need help with anything they all ask you whether they can do anything to help you and they are all very helpful. I would go back to Turkey any day and especially Side. The holiday was amazing and wow all the Turkish lads thats something to look at on its own lol, nah only joking there was fantastic scenery and great shopping facilities. Everything was absolutely amazing I loved it there at the Melissa Gardens I wouldn't have changed anything about the holiday. I will be going back to the Melissa next year and every year after we had a fantastic time and I will never forget the holiday I have been back in England about 6 weeks now and I miss everyone terribly. The fabulous food the Turkish bread is absolutely fab., I could eat it for days and days and never get bored of it. Melissa gardens is definitely going to stay in my heart for ever!!!!!

Overall, i had an amazing time here, the staff were great. All up for a laugh, just a really chilled out place to stay, I'd recommend this place to everyone!

We (me and my girlfriend) stayed at Melissa gardens this September 2008 for one week and had a great time. Would certainly return. Excellent staff who were friendly, looked after us, with a very funny and enjoyable Turkish night put on (we are not normally into the resort things but it was good!), very clean apartments and pool area, 5 mins walk to a lovely beach, and only a short bus journey to Side centre (which has many good bars and restaurants), if not perhaps the most banging place there was plenty to do (we are 23/24) with some great beach/ruins/nice ambiance. Fully recommend the hotel, Side and particularly the Queen bar/restaurant next door (excellent!)

Maid service every day, i.e.. towels, toilet roll, beds made etc. Bar staff were very pushy if you didn't drink and dine in the hotel some of them stopped speaking to you. We ate outside because the food and drink was very expensive in the hotel, i.e.6 pound for a vodka red bull, 3 pound for a saucer of chips. I went to shake hands with the bar staff when we left and one totally refused I put this down to not dining in hotel. Me and my family would not go back to Mellisa Gardens.

I have to thank all of the staff at Melissa Gardens because the were really friendly and helpful and I loved having fun with them because it was better than being bored and they always found time to join in the fun. Also we had fun shoving them in the pool cause they would then push us in which was fun.

I like it the Melissa Gardens, because there is everything you need is located just out side the apartments. Nice calm atmosphere and nice people. Nothing really bad to say. I would definitely recommend.

Apartments good, but we were on third floor and no lift, not suitable for anyone with kids etc. Shops nearby do not sell mostly snacks, so almost impossible to be self catering, also apartment did not have enough facilities to cook i.e. no microwave, toaster or oven. Hotel food no too bad but drinks very expensive i.e. a tiny tiny Baileys was 12 ytl ( £5).
