Plas Hafod Hotel, Mold, Wales

We had a fantastic day – it was perfect. The food was amazing – we had lots of positive comments from our guests – don’t be put off by the price (we nearly were) the food is really good . The service was faultless, they looked after both of us and our parents, they kept us informed of what was happening and allowed us to be involved in decisions (i.e. check the room, tables, cakes, buffet before the guests saw it). They were very accommodating – we made several changes to the ‘package’ and this was no problem for them. The room and breakfast were lovely. We had a great day and would HIGHLY recommend this venue for any type of wedding (big or small, ours was just 35 in day and 70 at night). Fantastic price.

Really made our day special. Guests loved it. Staff where exellent except when we where leaving in the morning. Lady ( I think the owner) Was a bit abrupt with us but over all exellent!!

Absolutely amazing venue Plas Hafod Hotel. Could NOT have been better. Food, accomodation, attention to detail TOP CLASS. The staff worked as a team, and nothing too much trouble. Made our event the best, and have given us many, many wonderful memories. Would recommend this venue to everybody. Excellent value for money.

Stayed in the victorian room which had only a small bath with no shower facility. The seal at the edge of the bath was very roughly done. The bath and washbasin plugs were not attached to their chains. There was a handtowel short. The washbasin was cracked as was the mirror. The covers on the bed had some staining. The kettle needing cleaning. The arms on the armchair were grubby. The windows could not be opened.

This hotel has a nice feel about it. I feel it was let down by things that could easily be rectified with minimum cost.

A little more care to detail would go a long way.

Would stay at hotel again but would ask for a different room.

Beautiful surroundings and stunning views from the wonderful rooms which were clean and really well furnished. Dinner and breakfast were enjoyed in a lovely dinning room that was lit with fantastic fairy lights.

I recommend the Plas Hafod Country House Hotel because as you drive or walk up that winding road you will love it, just as I did. My husband and I felt right at home!!! Definitely warm and inviting!!

Plas Hafod Hotel Mold provide excellent service, excellent food and very friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble throughout the weekend. Great rooms very clean and tidy very highly recommend it for your perfect day as it made ours the best day of our life
