if anyone is thinking of buying one plz plz plz dont!!!!! this is without doubt the worst car i have ever had........fact... once you spend £600 on fixing one leak the day after another one pops up 15 seconds after. i honestly got less wet useing my bike in the rain. and its not just the roof........the locks on the boot fail i had 3,,,,they shake going over the smalest of bumps honestly its like driving a bloody bouncy castle with someone squirting you wih a supersoaker,....and i know 3 people with the same car and its not just mine thr all the same......and may i add the people who say this is a good car im sorry but you all need to just admit you hate the bloody thing coz i know deep inside you all do lol. do not buy this car u will be sorry or turn into one of them people who wont admit they made a mistake lol

As I have read from many many others the roof leaks on the passenger side leaving a puddle sometimes inches deep. My local citroen dealer say it will cost £100 just to dianose the problem - what a joke

The Citroen C3 Pluriel is, without doubt, the worst car I have owned, and I've had some stinkers in my time! I originally bought it thinking my girlfriend wouldnt mind driving it, she hadnt got on with my previous, larger motors, but she hates this even more! and I, for one, don't blame her. Terrible car.

Bought the Citroen C3 Pluriel 1.4i as a well done for getting a promotion.Now on my 5th leak, upholstery ruined,spent £350 on new H seal which stopped the water coming out of the passenger speaker. Roof would not open and boot locked due to 'gradual mis-alignment, another £120 (although citroen dealer wanted £240)Replaced door seals ( £40)but still leaks on both sides and have a puddle in each footwell when raining. Had intermitant faults with windows not cIosing, the power steering going I give up, its got to go to some mug come spring ! Paid £6500 for 04 with 9000 miles, probably worth £4000 now if lucky. Had the whole roof off once all year. Wouldn't touch one again although engine wise its ok, but so it should be at 16,000 miles ! The worst thing is that my Dad has my old suzuki ignis and I have to look at it sat there behaving beautifully every day !!! People in the know smile and say 'yeah, the pluriel, they can be tempremental' duh!

I bought a Citroen C3 Pluriel in July 2004, my first ever new car. I loved the quirky design and the idea of owning a soft top was appealing.

It was the worst decision I've ever made!

I have never had the roof off as it has been with the dealers for most of the good weather.

The roof seals leaked and have been refitted 10 times.
