I Was Shocked To Read All The Reviews On This Dish

I was shocked to read all the reviews on this dishwasher. We have managed to stretched ours out for the last 5 years, but the fixing holding the door hinge on has gone 3 times- my husband bought the part online for a few pounds instead of spending money on a repairer. The soap dispenser hasn't worked properly for a few years, we've resorted to putting tablets on the cutlery holder. The salt indicator has never worked and the dishes aren't always clean, and rarely dry.

I am about to invest in a miele as I can't see the point in paying £300-400 for something that is just unreliable: more worthwhile spending on something that could last 20years!

I have the same problem with the Indesit DFG 261. The door won't click shut. How did your husband fix it?

We're On Our Second Di620. Not Because Their Good.

We're on our second DI620. Not because their good. Because the other one was so worn out after only 12 months, it had to be replaced under warranty. It's loud, leaks and the service was shocking. On the plus side, it was cheapish, it's simple to use and, er, that's about it. You get what you pay for and we got a stained wooden floor. Wish I'd have bought a Bosh or Miele.

Please Do Not Buy An Indesit Dishwasher! Have Had

Please do not buy an indesit dishwasher! Have had this 2 years and 2 weeks the repair man came out within the first 3 months on 3 occasions it has never cleaned to my expectations and now in the past week has shown signs of being on its way out again. Problem with drainage and now the panel has no functioning lights! Indesit would like me to pay £104 because its over 12 months to rectify the problem and offer a replacement if it breaks down within 12 months - the thing is I dont want anpother Indesit if it breaks down AGAIN so no win situation

From Day 1, My Indesit Di 620 Never Washed Properl

from day 1, my Indesit DI 620 never washed properly and pots were always comeing out mucky, even on intensive. ive had 1 replacement and i dont know how many repairs. The door lock broke 6 times, the door seal went 2 times, both dishwashers (1 being a replacement) thought it would be a good idea to clean the kitchen floor and flood everything. and the motor has finially just given up. A repair man came out said i would get another indesit replacement so rang them up said i don't want idesit and now they've agreed to give me a bosh one.

I'll Never Buy An Indesit Product Again. When My D

I'll never buy an Indesit product again. When my DI 620 dishwasher was on, I couldn't watch TV because it was so loud. The seal went after just 18 months which ruined the whole thing. Because it is an integrated dishwasher, there was no way of knowing that it was leaking until the whole of the insides had ruined. My last dishwasher, a Bosch, lasted for 5 years.

If You Want Basic, No Frills, This Will Do The Job

If you want basic, no frills, this will do the job. Broke down within first few months. Had to have indesit out to it 3+ times only to be told eventually it was a faulty lining on the machine and it should be replaced. Luckily it was under guarantee but Indesit were slow to part with a new one!

This Was A Cheap And Cheerful Indesit Product That

This was a cheap and cheerful Indesit product that cleaned our dishes well. We've had none of the problems that the other reviewers have experienced. I'm dissapointed that it's only lasted 3 and a half years before breaking down. It won't come on after a powercut, so it's difficult to use with a time to get Economy 7 rates late at night.

We had some bother with the soap not dispensing properly in the early days, but quickly learned that avoiding putting too much cutlery at the front of the basket, allowed the soap door to open freely and the water to wash the soap out.

We have fairly soft water. We've never used soap or rinse-aid, just cheap 3-in-1 tablets, and cleaning on the standard wash cycle has always been good.

Disappointed With Indesit Durability. My Previous

Disappointed with Indesit durability. My previous dishwasher lasted me more than 10 years without a problem.

If I now need to replace this one, I will not be considering an Indesit again. Albeit my previous one was an Indesit and so was my washing machine.

I Got The Indesit Di 620 Dish Washer Free When I B

I got the Indesit DI 620 dish washer free when I bought a B&Q kitchen - not bad as the dish washer is worth about £300. Some of the instructions were just a series of pictures - no idea what they were trying to explain! After setting up the machine I turned it on, after about 1 hour it started to gush lots of water from the bottom of the door. The whole washing cycle took 3 hours!! After lots of messing around with it I found that the problem was due to the salt setting being on maximum. This was the default setting from the factory. After I had turned the salt setting down the dishwasher stopped gushing water and the duration of the washing came down to just over 1 hour! I can't belive that the wrong salt setting makes this dish washer leak lots of water - It is a very bad design!!
