I Got A Set Of Four Of These For My Car Last Round
I got a set of four of these for my car last round and they have held up pretty well. They have great dry and wet grip for the most part and are extremely cheap for what you get. I have found that they do have a big problem with breakaway under acceleration and can behave a little funny on the LSD with surface water conditions. Points down for the incessant road noise too, have to go death from the sound system just to drown it out.
These tyres seem to love being set to 36PSI up front and 34PSI in the rear. Gave me the best grip like this in a FWD anyway.
All round; average performance overall, excellent price, excellent wear characteristics, happy consumer.

These Tyres Are Fantastic Value For Money. I've Ha
These tyres are fantastic value for money. I've had some other tyres on my car before such as the Yokohamas which only managed 40000kms. Pirellis I did 45000km but the Kumho KH15 Solus win the the trophy clocking 51000km out of a set!
They were bought at $99 a tyre at Tyres and More and rotated every 5000km religiously to get even fair wear and tear out of the tyres as each tyre wears differently. I had them pressurised to 36PSI due to freeway driving and also had it on around 36-38PSI for heavy loads or carrying 4 people in the car

- Does anyone know what the right pressure for these tyres are? I am currently running them at 34psi (which i think is high) but the tyres look like they are flat (bulging at the sides)???

These tyres do not instill confidence - it's a good job I'm not a fast driver. I will not be buying them again. I would rather pay a bit more and feel safer.

I Bought These Tyres On Recomendation - Previous T
I bought these tyres on recomendation - previous tyres were Bridgestones RE 88 - so these had a hard act to follow. These don't disappoint at all and have an extreemly safe feel. These are even better in the wet than the Bridgestones I had - very stable, and steering is more precise. I am waiting to see how long they last - but even if they do wear a bit quicker, it's worth it for such a safe handling tyre.
Oh - I forgot to mention - these were 2/3rds the price of the Bridgestones and half the price of the recommended Michelins!!
I found this review helpful because...I am a new driver and haven't bought tyres before. I have a slow puncture and having read that its advisable to use the best tyres u can afford, I was concerned about how good the Kumho Solus on my Chevrolet Matiz are.
For 50% more the Pirreli P6 looks very similar - and will
grip better - especially in the wet. The Kumho is cheaper and still a very safe tyre. Also the Kumho has better 'feel' and is a comfortable ride.
Finally finished with the front ones - I reckon on my 2.0 Scenic with fairly heavy cornering you can expect around 15K Miles
Not unreasonable - with care 18K Miles ought to be possible.
So - not the longest lasting - but a pretty good value for money tire with better than average handling.
Having lived with these for a while and having worn some out I can further comment that I still think these are very good and excellent value.
Once worn past half way they are a bit less good in the wet - but still better than average and very safe.
Tyre wear is pretty good, dry handling is very good and there is lots of feedback so you know how hard you are pushing it on corners on the wet. After wearing down more than half way they are more likely to skip under hard acceleration in the wet.
