Bought the battery from digitalmediastore, ordered it on Wednesday and arrived Monday morning, very happy with the delivery times, added bonus it was free postage even to N Ireland. As for the battery its works perfectly, I charged it and shot with it this afternoon in the studio to try it out, it charges in the Nikon Charger and displays info on the camera, battery life is about the same as nikons own battery, I am very happy, as its approx 1/3 of the price of Nikons. I shall give an update if it goes pear shape, but as it stands, its works perfectly unlike the Ex-Pro battery that was more expensive and didn't work, had to return. Highly recommended.

For my mother's birthday (on New year's eve, a very awkward time to have it if you ask me!) this year I decided to buy her a digital photo frame from Digital Media Store as she is beginning to get the hang of modern technology quite well and also really enjoys her photos, particularly now that she has twin three year old grandsons as well as a twenty year old grandson who often sends her pictures via email. After having a good look round and finding that most places had sold out, so she had to wait a few days for her present

Having used Amazon a lot with no problems, this was my first port of call. A quick search brought up plenty of options and along with standard digital photo frames I found a cute little key ring that holds up to 190 images... enough for any doting grandma! This was not available direct from Amazon, rather one of their marketplace sellers, digitalmediastore, but since I have bought second-hand books and new DVDs from assorted sellers I though I'd take a chance. Digitalmediastore have their own website as well as a store on Amazon and sell all kinds of things electronic, such memory cards, digital photo frames, batteries, chargers... well, have a look and see for yourself as they have such a wide range it would be impossible to list it all here

Purchasing via Amazon was done in the usual way, I just clicked to buy, made sure it would be delivered to my mother's address and paid using a combination of my debit card and a voucher I had won in a prize draw. The post and packing was '£4.50, not cheap, but not excessive and as I had a '£5.00 voucher this didn't bother me. P&P on the website is not listed, but can be calculate by 'pretending' to buy an item and will be different for each item or combination of items. As with all reputable online stores digitalmediastore take a variety of credit and debit cards, (including Electron which some companies do not accept) via a secure transaction service, I could see no evidence of being able to pay via Paypal

As this present was not coming direct from Amazon I contacted the seller to request they did not include an invoice in the package. The following day I received a very pleasant email saying that they would ensure no invoice was included but that as I had ordered via Amazon normally an invoice would be included as they only had the delivery address and not my account address, so it is a good thing I did email them. They also informed me that as they receive no indication that the buyer and recipient are not the same person and the lack of indication on the paperwork that it was ordered by another party means some people return the items as unsolicited goods

I received an email confirming my order with a link to the digitalmediastore website so I could check the progress of my order. Their main website is simple to use, to check progress of an order I had to create user account so that I could log-in, which was a straightforward process and means that in future I can order direct from them without going through Amazon. The front page has a selection of their current deals and the search feature works well, although I have been unable to find the key ring, so I assume certain items are only available via their Amazon marketplace

I ordered the key ring on Tuesday and it arrived safe and sound on the Thursday - can't fault that for service!

This site has to be one of the best that I have visited and I have visited many. The products are clearly labelled, value for money and better than I can purchase elsewhere!

I wanted an extra camera battery, but I didn't want to pay for the manufacturers own. www.digitalmediastore.co.uk had several to choose from, and I ordered Uniross, as it is a brand I trust.

I also wanted an SD card for my camera, and again, Digital Media Store had a great choice, with enough information to help me arrive at a choice.

The site was very easy to navigate and user friendly. Acknowledgment of order was immediate, and a dispatch advice arrived within a couple of hours. The following morning the goods landed on the doormat.

I have emailed Digital Media Store to praise their prompt service, and I received a personal reply. In this, they rightfully acknowledge the part played by the Royal Mail!

From despatch in Surrey to delivery in Scotland in around 16 hours is quite superb...standard Royal Mail first class too!

I received excellent communications and customer care from Digital Media Store, which is rare these days. Delivery was unbelievably fast, and still, they took time to praise Royal Mail! I didn't give a 10 mark for the web site or value, as they are both subjective areas, and this restricted me to a 9 overall. Recommend to a friend? MOST DEFINITELY.

Well its nice to be able to sing the praises of an Internet shopping site, but I just have to give Digital Media Stores, of Epsom, a big pat on the back. They offered me a service so good, that I felt I must share with others.
Recently I purchased a JVC camcorder from Amazon (you can read my experience with them in a previous review), and thought that an extra battery for it would be good, particularly the biggest available, so my daughter could take it to Switzerland when she tours with the County Wind band.
Checking the JVC site for the battery BN-VF733UI, I was shocked to see the price at £95. Even the next model down was £75. Free delivery of course (I should think so!)
I surfed around using good old Google, and came across digitalmediastore.co.uk, they had a compatible battery by DMS, model no. JVF733 for £46.99, delivery was £1.99, very reasonable! So I placed an order on 7th July and received it on the 9th.
I charged up the beast (it did take 3 times longer than the battery that came with the camera), and I tested it, for a while all was great, until an error kept popping up on the viewing screen (Communication Error), indicating a battery camera problem.
On the 15th (after giving it a re-charge and further testing), I contacted DigitalMediaStore and asked their advice, it turns out the battery could be at fault, would I send it back freepost, and they would exchange it, it was dispatched as per instructions clearly provided by their e-mail, hoping the return will be in time for the trip leaving on the 24th.
Trusting, in providence, I left it until the 22nd, having not heard from the supplier I emailed, the battery had now been withdrawn from sale and they will refund when they received the one I returned, just my luck, what a let down I thought.
I enquired about the next model down (JVF714 a three hour life battery), they were made by a different manufacturer, and they had had no problems with these, but it was a little tight to reach us by the deadline, I paid for the new one £39.99 plus special delivery £6.99, (still better than £75), and then came a flurry of e-mails,
Special delivery wouldn't guarantee next day delivery - change it back to first class - they are packing it now while asking the Royal Mail driver to hang on, - order shipped.
AND it arrived on the Saturday morning the 23rd.
On the 25th, they had received the one I returned and issued all necessary credits.
Job well done!
This internet shop seems to offer all sorts of batteries, chargers, memory, accessories and printer inks, all at competitive prices, but most of all, a customer service that feels like it has the human touch, and will endeavour to put the customers wishes first and foremost.
If they treat all their customers the way I was served, I think they will have a bright and successful future, I for one certainly hope so.
I also think that the Royal Mail should have some credit too, they certainly did a good job.
