L'artisan La Chasse aux Papillons - I am incredibly biased towards the niche houses (CB I Hate Perfume etc) and see no point in wearing the latest mass-marketed juice... there's plenty of other places to find pretty.

LCDP is a lovely scent and the reason it doesn't last all day is because its not loaded with chemicals. It fades and that is when you renew it. I get nauseous when I can't get rid of a strong chemical scent even in the shower. It's the subtlety I love about these scents.

L'artisan La Chasse aux Papillons fragrance is spectacular. I love Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile and Serge Lutens Un Lys for the same reason I love this--they're sweet, creamy, fresh, and ultra-feminine. It would make a wonderful wedding day fragrance, a delicious first-date fragrance, or a lovely scent on a day you need to feel pampered.
If you love expensive smelling, creamy, white floral fragrances you will enjoy this (though I do love Un Lys just a little more). The only problem I found with LCAP is that it fades so quickly--for these prices, it should last all day (or longer)!
