“Complete waste of money !!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Coleman329 on 07/10/2017

With only been a student I don't have much money so when I treated myself to an Intuition Shaver I hoped to get my money's worth. Unfortunately I was beyond dissapointed, the soap around the blades is too big so you can't get a close enough shave. However even when pressing down really hard with the razor it still didn't actually shave my legs so I think the blades were blunt from day one of purchase. Honestly I could get better shavers from pound land, don't waste your money -would NOT recommend.

“worst razor ever”

★☆☆☆☆

written by LemonLove09 on 01/06/2014

I bought this razor after using various Venus ones and thinking I'd try something new. I'm going straight back to Venus! Worst experience shaving ever. The soap bars around the blade stick out much further than the blades not allowing them close to your skin at all. I used it the morning before my holiday flight and being in a rush didn't check my legs after. I arrived on holiday and changed into shorts only to discover my legs appeared not shaved at all!! I was so disappointed I had to buy razors out there and shave again. I got home and tried again but got the same results, also the hairs all clogged up in the blade and plastic shell which looks disgusting on the bathroom shelf. Wouldn't recommend it :(

“Awful one off purchase”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 25/11/2013

Bought this as it was more than half price off. I thought it was a bargain- I was very wrong. The soap bar is almost all gone after one use and my legs are itchy and feel dry- even though I used in shower. The whole razor is large and feels clumpy- far to big for use of anything but legs. I thought because there were four blades it would be safe and have a very close cut but I have fuzz on my legs and cuts as well. I have never cut my armpits before even with cheap nasty razors but this thing managed it. Would no recommend and will not re-purchase.

“Intuition blades.”

★★★☆☆

written by AnneClifford on 30/01/2012

Most of the eliments of the intuition blades are very good. As a person with Arthiritis I find the shaver easy to hold. Also the blades are easy to change. I sit down in the shower and find it easy to reach all the areas necessary. My only complaint is that the front soap on the blade wears out a lot quicker than the back soap. This means that I have to throw away the blades when the back soap is not used up. This seems such a waste of money and I was wondering if you could make the front soap the same as the back soap.

As a male that shaves his legs I found it very quick and easy to use. I shave in the shower and not having to apply gels and then avoid washing it off under the shower before you shave is a great bonus. Legs and underarms felt silky smooth which is not bad on my tough hair. Have tried all sorts razors shavers and epilators and this is the best and most comfortable method I have found. Would recommend this to males and females alike. Only downside, the holder keeps falling off the wall

I really liked this razor I got the sensitive skin one that has Aloe Vera and Vitamine E in it, I have tried various Gillette razors over the years but I really think this is the best razor I have used so far. There are 3 different types a Sensitive skin, a Hydrasoft and a Natural care one.
It is of course a matter of opinion but go and try one and let me know what you think!

written by sopha on 20/04/2008

I am quite prone to dry skin and usually shave rather than wax because I don't like waiting for my leg heair to grow to 'waxing length'. I got one of those Intuition Plus razors the other day on offer and it really surprised me. It looks quite bulky but that's because it has soap around the razor so you don't have to use shaving foam. It saved me heaps of time and is less messy. For once I didn't have to pile on thick moisturising cream after I shaved my legs because they didn't feel as dry as they normally do. I'm definately sold!

Its quite bulky but nothing that can't be hidden in the bathroom cupboard

“The Wilkinson Sword Intuition razor is one of the...”

★★★★★

written by Snarflebat on 01/08/2005

The Wilkinson Sword Intuition razor is one of the newest in the Wilkinson range. It has an innovative, ergonomic design with the main difference being that it combines the job of shaving gel and razor simultaneously, with the "skin conditioning solid" that surrounds the blade.
The Sword pack includes the plastic razor handle, usually two of the solids (including the Wilkinson triple blade razorblades), a shower handle and travel cap. Two different types of solid exist - normal and sensitive skin varieties. Replacement solids can be bought separately.
Shaving with the intuition is, as the advertising and packaging suggests, very easy. Best results (I have found) come from normal shaving in the shower as your legs (or wherever you shave) need to be wet in order for the solid to lather. The solid does lather well, is pleasantly scented and leaves the skin feeling softer. The Intuition does not (as other reviewers have found) give a particularly close shave (I found that shaving with the old style Wilkinson blade ladyshaves are better for this) but your legs and underarms do feel silky and soft after use. I find that perfect results can be found by going over your legs twice (a little time-consuming I know but perfect, smooth silky legs can be attained). The Intuition is suitable for shaving the legs, underarms and bikini area with great results.
Perhaps one of the major issues with the Intuition (despite the lovely results) is the price. At roughly £6.30 per Intuition pack (that is, with the shower handle etc) and then around £12 per 6 pack of solids, the razor is more expensive than other products. Although this could be argued to be worthwhile (as you do not need to buy shaving gel to use with the razor) the price would be the only downfall, in my opinion, to an otherwise good product.
I would recommend the Intuition (despite the price) for an excellent quality shave, good razor and solid durability and the time-saving element. Definitely give it a try. Use your Intuition!

“The Wilkinson Sword Intuition razor comes with a...”

★★★★☆

written by Belle16 on 27/07/2005

The Wilkinson Sword Intuition razor comes with a lathering and moisturising blade, so you don't have to apply shaving gel. All you have to do it wet your skin and the blade before you shave. It also comes with an attachment to stick to a wall whilst not in use. Replacements blades complete with moisturising block are available. I found this quick and easy to use, with a lovely fragrance. My skin felt soft and moisturised after use. However, I didn't feel that the razor gave a very 'close' shave like other razors do, perhaps due to the blade being surrounded by the moisturising block. Nonetheless, still a great time saving product.
