Wedel uses to deftly portray an eerie environs in spite of commonly known American historical events like an escaped slave, life on the frontier with the Sioux, or the battle of Saratoga. Seven of the contributions star Josef Ulrik, an interesting lycanthrope who steals the show even when the competition is the queen of howling Shara Wellington. For the most part the tales are serious with Sunday Dentistry more a tongue in cheek tale. Readers will feast on this fabulous journey into the world wild werewolves and latent lycanthropic who prove to the enthralled audience that Mr. Wedel knows his subject while also wondering if this author takes the full moon off.
