Great Network In All
I have been using O2 for the past 3.5 years and I have to say that I am very pleased with their service in all. I used to have a contract with them and everything was very satisfying. However, my internet connection was not that good and because I was using my phone as a GPS in same areas my connection was so slow that I would actually get lost for a while (must admit was a bit fun though). Anyway, I changed to pay as you go for a year as I was spending most of my time travelling abroad. I thought it was a bit expensive compared to monthly payments and with substantially fewer benefits however it suited me perfectly. Anyway, when I was stationed back to the UK I switched to a monthly account yet again. This time I chose a contract that would also give me a phone – selected the galaxy note – along with unlimited calls, unlimited texts, and 1 GB of data all for the price of 36 pounds a month. I thought it was a very reasonable price for what was being offered. Throughout my switches to pay n’ go and monthly contracts I was able to transfer my number and keep the same one (which was very convenient as I did not waste time notifying all of my contacts about a number change). The only problem I have encountered so far was when O2 had to transfer my number for the pay n go to the monthly contract. Although the switched took place in time, I had to call O2 twice before sorting out several problems that occurred with my phone. As my sim card was registered to another number when I was calling or texting the registered (new number) would appear sometimes instead of the new old one (the one that was transferred over). After they sorted out everything for me, I have not encountered any problems and I am not planning on switching from O2 anytime soon. I would recommend it without any hesitation for anyone that values good customer service and extra benefits to their phones.
Beware........
My advice to anyone uprading their phone to do so in the high street shop unless you want to waste your time waiting for deliveries that never arrive. They use a company called UK Mail and they are total rubbish - look at their reviews..........

I Started Out With A Vodafone Pay As You Go (great
I started out with a Vodafone pay as you go (great service from them too in all fairness), but at 18 I decided to go contract and choose o2. I got a great price plan and the signal received was good too, after 2 years though I spent a year in Australia so cancelled the contract. Upon return I found a great deal with Orange and signed up for an 18 month poor no signal (I live in Farnborough Hants so not as if i'm in the middle of no where, spitting distance from London) and the phone broke after 6 months. Orange didn't want to know as far as I am concerned so whilst keeping up the payments I went pay as you talk with o2. Once the contract expired with orange I upgraded my PAYG to an o2 contract and loved it. After a few months with them I encountered my first major problem. I switched bank accounts and for some strange reason the direct debit failed so o2 cut me off. After a quick call I was reconnected instantly but couldn't send texts. Instead of ringing and holding all day I emailed them and received step by step instructions on how to rectify the problem within a few hours, much sooner that I expected and now once again I'm back to loving o2.

I Have Been An O2 Customer For Nearly 4 Years, And
I have been an O2 customer for nearly 4 years, and I wouldn't recommend any other network. They're always finding new ways to please their customers. The only problem I've ever found with O2, is that it can sometimes be difficult to get a signal in certain areas or buildings, such as built up areas with blocks of flats, or in rooms with a lot of metal in, like pub kitchens.
