The Ford Taurus 3.0 OHV V6 Sedan is a pretty good car if you can find one in good shape. The car itself is pretty comfortable, and reasonably roomy inside, but I question the long-term reliability of this car model-- I owned this car for 5 years, and these things have been repaired on this car so far:
--Tie rod ends, Transmission cooler line, multi-function switch (headlamp, turnsignal combo) shorted out, Heater Core, Fuel pump, door latches, and rotors.
I did have this car from 27K miles to 103K miles, and these above things were nothing that left me stranded but it makes me wonder what's next....
If you find one in good shape it makes a wonderful 2nd car (especially if you're mechanically inclined!!)
